Surely the answer to "who is the better businessman" is the man who is worth more than the other. That's Trump, and that's all the more impressive considering the situation he's been in.
Take nothing away from McMahon, however. You don't get to be a billionairre if you're clueless. |

The "better businessman" trophy has to go to Vince, simply because of the numerous times Donald has tanked. If not for Bankruptcy, which got him out of most of his depts entirely, he'd still be in "debtor's prison." Seiously. The best player is not the one who calls "mulligan!" |

There is no debtor's prison.
At least Trump's bad business decisions would have benefitted his company if they weren't so overly ambitious. Vince has made some baffling decisions to say the least, that nobody in their right mind could have considered viable money makers. |

It's a turn of phrase.
Note the quotes? Let me guess. You will next tell me there are no mulligans in the business world. |

The mulligan thing, not the prison.

"mulligan" is a term used in a couple of sports (Golf being the one I can name) and card games. It essentially means "Do Over."
And before you tell me they don't really call Mulligans in business, that's why it and "Debtor's Prison" were both in quotes. Debtor's prison, as a business parlance, refers to vengefully (or otherwise) holding someone in so much debt that they will never be able to get out. You know, like getting out of jail. Except now you're a lifer. I believe the military used to also use this term for severely garnishing someone's wages into civilian life. |

Yeah but debtor's prison really isn't a relevant expression in modern times. Like you said yourself, Trump declared bankruptcy. Problem solved.
Never heard the mulligan expression, must either be an American thing (even though "Mulligan" is Irish) or I just never crossed paths with it before. |
