As much as I'd like to see it, there's no way Jeff or Matt Hardy will win a MITB ladder match at Mania. They're talented guys with little (Jeff anyway)mic skills. they'll be IC'ers for life or thrown back together in a nostaligic tag team.

Just ask Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas

AdrianM does not have that much rep yet (10+)
it was probably the 2nd best match @ last year's wrestlemania, it has to continue.

I think it should be:
Jeff hardy
Johnny Nitro
Shelton Benjamin
Cm punk
Chris Benoit
Ken Kennedy

I think Jef HArdy's more likely than most internet favorites. He's still hot in the eyes of WWE, and he's a spot monkey, which beats out more technical wrestlers.

Does he have a snowball's chance in Hell? No. But that shows you what I think of everyone else's chances.

Seriously, this is a problem with wrestling. They've built up a perception where people can't buy most guys as a champion. Hell, I think even when their Hoss worship was more evident, it was actually more believable that a "little guy" could win.

Ah well. At least wee got an Eddie Guerrero Rey Mysterio reign, proving anything can happen in the WWE (To someone who fucks their dead amigo's corpse).

Personally, I'd rather see a TLC Match pitting Paul London & Brian Kendrick against The Hardys, MNM and The World's Greatest Tag Team. That's eight talented men going at it in a Ladder Match. The only man not proven in Ladder Matches is Charlie Haas, and not only do I think he would be great in it, he could also play the role of anchor, and keep the thing grounded at times, utilising psychology.

If Money in the Bank happens this year, I think RAW should offer Jeff Hardy and Shelton Benjamin. I don't know what will happen to Charlie Haas, but it is obvious the WWE has a preference for Benjamin. I can see this leading to a Haas vs. Benjamin feud, something the WWE has never really done, and could be awesome if they did. SmackDown! should send forth Matt Hardy and Chris Benoit. I'm tempted to say Chavo Guerrero, but he is really below Hardy and Benoit on the contendership leader. Maybe have him challenge a face Gregory Helms for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship? ECW can be represented by CM Punk and Rob Van Dam. As a former MITB winner, I think there will be enough energy behind RVD to get him in the match, even against WWE politics.

Who should win? Personally, I'd go with Chris Benoit or CM Punk. Benoit winning would almost be as magical as his Rumble win, and having Benoit teasing going after the WWE Title and ECW World Title could be fun. CM Punk winning would launch him to that permanent main event level, and he could very easily play the role of fish looking for go to a larger pond. My third pick would be Matt Hardy, as I am a big fan of the guy, and think a win for him would be huge. If Edge wins the WWE Title at WrestleMania (like he should), I think an Edge vs. Matt Hardy feud would be extremely entertaining. Although CM Punk and Chris Benoit could have just as much fun chasing the Title. RVD has no chance, and I don't think Shelton or Jeff should win it. A Matt vs. Jeff feud heading into Summerslam over the WWE Title is a bit of a pipe-dream, but it could work in a weird sort of way.

Johnny Nitro seems like an obvious candidate for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, but I'd rather see MNM team-up to challenge Paul London & Brian Kendrick for the WWE Tag Team Championship. MNM fall short, and we see Nitro attack Joey Mercury again, which would make this the second time London & Kendrick have forced MNM to turn on each other out of frustration. You could maybe add the SmackDown! teams of William Regal & Dave Taylor and either Deuce N' Domino or my pipe-dream team of Jimmy Wang Yang & Funaki to the match. Come on, Funaki lives in San Antonio, is good friends with Stone Cold Steve Austin, a huge fan of Shawn Michaels. Why not have two Japanese cowboys?

If it's ever decided to kill WWECW once and for all, I think this could be a great way to reduce the belts. Let's be realistic - the Raw/SD! split is gonna be with us for a LOOONG while still. ECW? Not so much.

OK thought of a new scenario. Totally not going to happen though. Lets say at this years Wrestlemania, Jeff Hardy wins MITB. and waits to the rumble, and wins it, next he goes to Wrestlemania, and wins the next MITB, so he uses his rumble win, and his two MITB to challenge every champion to a hell in a cell fatal four way elimination match , triple world title match.

It'd be a neat way to unify the titles if a guy won the Money in the Bank, held onto it until the Royal Rumble, won that, and then cashed in his shot for the World Heavyweight Title after SmackDown!'s Champion retained. He then decides to challenge for the WWE Title at WrestleMania as World Heavyweight Champion.

The two men I can see doing this are CM Punk and Chris Jericho, neither of whom will.

I think he's wrong for comparing their fate and chances to charlie haas and shelton benjamin. They've clearly already surpassed them by far, and have the potential to go on to better things (mainly Jeff). Just ask the Rockers. But seriously, they're unofficially back together because tag teams suck and they need something for them to do. I wouldn't completely rule out Jeff getting a big push this summer or in the coming year or so.

Djscorpion has done some stupid things
The MITB ladder match should not be 6 way match. It should be a one on one match with qualifying matches either on RAW or the night of WM 23.
I wouldnt mind seeing Edge, Orton , and HBK in the tournment if the main event will be UT vs Cena. This way we can see them in some good matches throughout the night at WM.

That would be the most legit way to unify the titles.

I love most, if not all, of the above ideas for the MITB shot. Has anyone mentioned the King of the Ring? Whoever wins the MITB, the other brand should have a KOTR tournament, like they did last year, for their title.

I love the ideas about title unification through loopholes thanks to winning both the Rumble and the MITB.
