I still think Kennedy vs Benoit for the US title.
Rey is returning. And unless they see fit to put him back into his stale fued with Chavo, and have a former World Champion challenge for the Cruiserweight belt....I think Rey fits into this match like a hand into a custom made glove. As for MVP, screw him. Have him squashed by Khali on heat for all I care, it would mean both of them were off the card. |

I do hate the fact that I as a fan am not going to see Orton and Edge, I was greatly looking forward to it. WWE gives me a glimpse of whats to come, and the fuck me over...thank you WWE.

Thats why I'm suspicious of this. Edge vs Orton would have been their second main event for Raw.
If you're putting them in this, it means they likely want to avoid one of them turning face. The thing I am suspicious of is that they will have Edge win it and pull the swirve. Maybe its wishful thinking, but I don't see them putting him and Orton in the MITB match unless there was a motive. They have more than enough fitting wrestlers to put on there, and could have pitted Edge and Orton against eachother in an additional high profile match. I think its so they can move Edge to Smackdown as their top heel, and avoid directly jobbing Orton and transfering face heat to one of them. |

You have to hold off on Edge and Orton.
Edge/Orton and DX is going to be your big progrm when HHH comes back, and If Edge and Orton wrestle at Mania you obviously won't have that. |

As it was said in another thread... WRESTLEMANIA 23 just another WRESTLEMANIA 11, God I hope not.

First you do DX/Rated RKO. After that program runs its course THEN you have either HHH or HBK turing heel to feud with each other. I would imagine it would be HHH who would do the turning. That's the best way. |

I'm still kind of hoping that they have two Ladder Matches on the card. Money in the Bank and a TLC Match between the tag teams. That would kick so much ass.

I'd rather see Edge win the World Title at mania, jump to smackdown as their champion and work a program with Taker and Batista. Come out victorious kinda like a sneak while they are at eachothers throats.
Taker and Batista program continues for a month or two, while Edge fueds with someone like Benoit or Kane. Build Edge up big as a champion, then when HHH returns...have him come back to Smackdown. Then HHH/Edge program for the world title throughout the fall. If HHH goes over, he can put over Kennedy (who's been dominating as US champion all 07) at WM24 after Kennedy wins the rumble and Triple H regains the World Title off Edge. I like to think ahead, more than a year ahead. |

Nah. Why not HHH on Smackdown? Smackdown could use some more star power in Edge and Triple H. It'd make the show stronger and it would be fresh.
You'd have Edge/HHH stemming from DX/RatedRKO. And on Raw there'd be plenty of power there. There'd be Cena, Orton, Michaels and there'd be room to push someone bigger. As for Rated RKO being split up, it'd be a great thing. They're clearly the top 2 main event level heels in the company, and would be best on seperate shows dominating. It'd also be nice to see Edge and HHH in fresh matchups with the roster over there. Good oppurtunity to push Benoit and Kane against a top heel too. As for DX being split up. Yes the return will make money. But its gonna inevitably disintegrate into a fued between them. Why not have HHH signed by Smackdown, so DX is back but split up. They only see eachother at splitbrands and they act like they're doing their own thing but they're still blood. You could even do the DX vs Rated RKO payoff as a tag match at a PPV. Think about it Edge would be champion fueding with HHH, and HBK/Orton could likely be fueding with eachother for the belt. Main event level tag right there, pairing respective fueds and rekindling the old one. Then you have the Michaels/HHH payoff. Simple. When HHH returns to Raw, you have them reunited. But HHH turns heel when he gets there and takes out Shawn. Theres your main event for whatever. So nah, I wasn't joking. Just throwing ideas out there. Doesn't mean I think they'll happen, but I certainly think they're refreshing. plus speaking of money, having a member of DX on each show and having them huck merchandise and shit on two shows would be pretty good. They could easily continue to team up on the occasional split brand event and even as suprises sometimes. Plus them being from different brands would make the Team Up against a reunited RKO to settle unfinished business even a bigger deal. Last edited by Jeritron; 02-20-2007 at 01:17 AM. |

Triple H going to SmackDown! is more realistic now than it once was. SmackDown! is becomming more the better show as the weeks go by, plus JBL is now doing commentary and CW is high on it. Triple H was once really sour on being a face, but he warmed up to that. I would honestly much rather see Triple H turn heel, crack a sledgehammer in Shawn Michaels' back, and when asked why he did, just shrug and say "becuase I felt like it", but the H's heading to the blue brand is more realistic than it was maybe a year ago.
Edge, Benoit, Kane, Taker, Batista, Kennedy and MVP are enough to rule SmackDown! for a while, though. Arguably more than enough. |

Edge is in.
Orton will most likely go over HBK in a qualifying match, continuing the team heat, but ultimatly leading to the beginning of the end of rated RKO in the midst of the MITB match. Yes, Kennedy will be in, and I nearly demand that he wins it. His career, to this point, has basically been finding one way or another to claimj victory over insurmountable odds. I would imagine that Punk would go in simply due to a lack of ECW options. And I've read that vince has given up on Test's 'top heel' push, but he'd be the perfect 2nd man from the brand. However, I was thinking...the Rumble was not composed of equal brand portions, so if Punk goes into this match, he may be the only Extremist there. That leaves one more spot open, and I'd like it to go to Benjamin. I think it'd be great to have him in it every consecutive year until he finally fecking wins. Lastly, I want Helms in. JBL has been going on, for Helms' entire CW title run, about having him 'step up' in weight class. Well, dammit, now's the perfect time for the demonstration of hurri--uh, I mean...will power. Well the winner of that match will tell us who's more in the doghouse, since reportedly both of them are.

*SmackDown! Spoilers*
Spoilers follow, don't read if you don't want to know:
Assuming we have six men in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match (as per usual), then we have half the match confirmed. Edge, CM Punk and King Booker are in. I'm not too thrilled about Booker being in the match, as he seems to be in there just because he's a main event heel act. Let someone who can work a Ladder Match be in there, but oh well, I'm willing to be surprised by Booker's performance in the match. I'd expect Randy Orton to be added, it just makes sense seeing as Edge is in. I am almost certain they will do something with the tag teams, so Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy and Joey Mercury won't be in the match. ECW offering Test isn't a bad idea, as he has proven to be able to survive in a hardcore environment. Elijah Burke wouldn't be a bad choice, but I think they will keep him for the New Breed vs. Originals Match. Maybe Snitsky, as he is a big guy (they usually have one), and he can bump when he needs to. The final SmackDown! guy is tricky. Kennedy does seem like the logical pick. That would give the match around five heels looking to climb the roster. I think another face would be good. Who is there, though? My fantasy booking says Paul Burchill, but that's not going to happen. |

Yea Booker seems kinda pointless. I'm assuming there'll be a qualifying match this week on Raw that Jeff goes over in. Then Randy Orton will go over someone to get in on smackdown.
