The Invasion definitely sucked........
but I'm surprised more people aren't mentioning Katie Vick. Oh man, what a fucking train wreck that was. I'm sure Vince is still regretting that one, or at least being teased for it. Gotta admit, Triple H in a Kane mask when he swore it'd be Kane but it was clearly fucking Triple H just wearing a Kane mask was hilarious.
But the fucking a mannequin that was supposed to be a human that was supposed to be a corpse in a casket was not funny. It was just flat out fucked in the head weird. Then what tops it all off? "I did it.......I really did it--I screwed your brains out" (generic canned spaghetti and meatballs hurled at camera) |

While Katie Vick was a legendarly horrific angle, it simply didn't have such long term effects that has left the company in a crippled state, which most of the other mistakes before mentioned had.

After Wrestlemania VI, I would have had Hogan leave WWE for good. Warrior would have kept the belt until Summerslam 1990 where he would lose the title to Rick Rude. Within the next year you would have had a main event scene that would have included Rick Rude, Curt Hennig, Ric Flair, Randy Savage, Ted Dibiase and Bret Hart.
