JT Kool is right.
legend had respectful things to say about me, so I'm not going to tear into him too much, so hb2k will be my target. Seriously, how can you say Kane sucks like it is fact. Shawn Michaels sucks, face it. Easy to say. Offer some fucking evidence. It's OK that you don't want to see him as World Champion. I don't want to see a lot of guys near the belt again (namely Triple "Lucky Cunt" H), but I wouldn't say they flat out suck. Kane has put up with so much shit in his career. For a guy his size, he has a lot of fucking charisma. Kane is one of the few guys with the power to make me mark out. I still remember his match with Edge at Vengeance 2005 (I think that was it, I may be off). Everyone thought Edge was going to win. Then about half-way through the match I just knew Kane was going to pull it off. Snitsky came out, leapt off the top rope with a double axe handle, Kane caught him by the throat, and made Snitsky piss himself. Edge then got the briefcase, and against anyone else, Edge would have taken the window of opportunity to use the briefcase and win, but not against Kane. The Big Red Machine had eyes on the back of his head, ducked the briefcase shot, and then took out Edge with a Chokeslam. It was like one piece on a chess field taking out everyone, including the king. That I can remember that match from memory, yet I can't remember what John Cena did last week should say something about how compelling Kane is. You might not like him, but some do, and they have perfectly good reasons. Kane is not terrible at promos. He's one of the better guys they have. His has great articulation, and a great a voice. His maniacal laugh should be heard more often. I remember when he was teaming up with Rob Van Dam, and RVD bought him a game of Hungry, Hungry Hippos, and Kane told us about his childhood torturing squirrels int he basement, with some big words thrown in for good measure. Great fun that promo was. I don't think Kane should be necessarily given the belt tomorrow, but he can definitely be built up. He has great chemistry with Batista, and the two worked a match on SmackDown! prior to WrestleMania that was one of the best in Dave's career. Kane's brawl with Regal & Taylor (the one that commenced their feud, I believe) was in all honesty (no hyperbole at all) one of the better ones I have seen in professional wrestling. I don't want to say the best, because people won't believe me, but it was fucking great. Kane was meant to be wrestling Dave Taylor, but Taylor retreated to the floor, where William Regal helped out his buddy. Real punches were thrown (Glen Jacobs is a big enough boy to take them, Mr. Regal probably figured), and it really looked like Regal and Taylor were desperate to take Kane down. Regal even got a steel chair and legitimately started thwacking Kane with until he knocked it out of the way and started putting some distance between the Blue Bloods. During this little brawl, the crowd was actually caring. When Kane started to send Taylor and Regal running back up the apron, the crowd was right into the moment. It wasn't just "zOMG! babyface!" pops, either. The crowd knew that what they saw was as close to real as it could have been. Throughout the entire brawl, you could feel the crowd heating up. The fans care about him, and it's obviously for a reason. A short little way to get Kane back on track: Next week he teams up with The Boogeyman to take on William Regal & Dave Taylor. The Boogeyman is isolated for most of the match, but then he tags in Kane, and the heels take a flogging. A Chokeslam on William Regal ends it in favour of the faces. But then Kane Chokeslams Boogeyman. He also takes down Dave Taylor with his own Chokeslam, and then obliterates Little Boogeyman with a Chokeslam. Kane's pyros then go off, and it's onto a reign of terror by the monster. I wouldn't turn him heel, but I'd just have him attack anyone and everyone who pisses him off. This match won't likely happen, because the booking is too complex, and the idea requires too much thought for WWE audiences, but I'd propose a nine-man Ladder Match for Judgment Day: Chris Benoit teams up with Paul London & Brian Kendrick, MVP joins forces with William Regal & Dave Taylor, while Kane is stuck with Deuce & Domino. The United States Championship and WWE Tag Team Championship belts are suspended above the ring, and as each three-man unit is comprised of a singles wrestler and a tag team, the winning unit's singles wrestler will be US Champion, and the tag team will be Tag Team Champs. They can use this match to promote the new Ladder Match set, and talk about how the concept continues to evolve. William Regal and Dave Taylor are the mediators of the match, while Paul London, Brian Kendrick, Deuce, Domino and MVP jump around and try to earn stronger followings. Chris Benoit and Kane add star power to the match. Towards the end, Kane goes Chokeslam crazy, even taking out his own partners, and then he climbs the ladder himself. Someone like MVP could have avoided Kane's onslaught, and nails him repeatedly with a steel chair, and then climbs the ladder to pick up the win. Kane looks like a beast, MVP is the new United States Champion, Regal & Taylor are the new Tag Team Champions. Benoit, London, Kendrick, Deuce & Domino would be particularly upset by this. Kane just shrugs it off, and continues climbing his way up the monster chart. At Judgment Day, I expect Batista to defend the World Heavyweight Title against Mark Henry. This would be an unpopular move, but I'd actually have Henry win the Title. Sure, he's not that great, but he wouldn't be the worst Champion of all-time, either. People were actually taking him seriously last he was around. Then you can have him job the Title to Kane. Sure, it's playing musical titles a bit, but with the current SmackDown! main event scene, you need to shake things up a bit. Kane could actually be the first stable World Champion SmackDown! has had in some time. If you really hate the idea of Mark Henry winning the World Title, at all, you can have Batista retain at Judgment Day, and then have Kane win the belt at One Night Stand. |

Ok, here it is - Kane is horrible in the ring, his gimmick is stale, and really he adds nothing to the show anymore other than he's a guy that's been around long enough that people know he's a star. I can't remember the last time Kane was involved with something good.
Obviously there is an appeal to Kane from some people, which is fine, but Kane always has, and always will be a character with a plateau. It's not one of the top stars, it's not midcard, it's between the two, and that's always the way it is. Moving him one way or the other is pointless because it is what it is. However, because it's been so long since he's been involved in anything worth anything, his matches are brutal, and his backstage stuff is embarrassingly bad (listening to him recount his thoughts in his head that we can somehow hear as scary music inexplicably plays in the background was fucking brutal, and don't get me wrong, that's not Glen Jacobs fault, but that is what Kane is, and that sucks). I'm not saying he should be fired, but he should absolutely be nowhere near the world title, so as to keep that crap away from PPV main events. |

Kane's agile and one of the best big men in the ring today, and gimmicks are easy to freshen up if you actually try. He adds nothing to the show because people with this attitude don't integrate him, it's not like it's his fault he's in a useless position. Can't remember the last time the writers wrote him into a good angle? HOLYSHIT HE MUST BE A BAD WRESTLER, RIGHT? They've changed what Kane is several times now. It'd be pretty fucking easy to just change it again to fit something mainevent and endorsable. I'm not saying Kane should main event--I already expressed that I think he's jobbed too much and too hard--but the attitude that "NO HE SUCKS AND HE'S NEVER BEEN GOOD" is irritating as hell. Kane has been and can be a bigger draw than alot of the fucks they're pushing right now. He's easily as talented as Lashley or Batista, if not arguably more so. Again, I'm not saying he should main event, but people sound like they have sand in their vagina when they flail about OMG HE SUCKS SO HARD THO?!?! |

Damn alienoid, you must have a lot of time to spare considering how long your posts always are. That was the longest post you've written in a while.

With Kennedy injured, it would be a perfect time to have Kane go on a rampage on Smackdown, destroying Kennedy and saying he's angry that Batista got a shot and he hasn't had one in a long long time. Teddy Long then says fine and makes it a three way between him, Taker and Batista. Kane comes out the winner! This would be good.

Yeah seeing Kane go on a rampage is exactly what Smackdown needs.

It doesn't usually take me long to write stuff. It just all kind of streams out. Maybe five minutes, max.

With Booker T, Taker, and Kennedy out I think a Kane run would be pretty fresh.
