It was over 10 years before Calzaghe fought on free TV and he also happened to be a great champion in an era without major superstars. Had he been around 5 years earlier, he would probably be a Hall of Fame fighter by now.

You never know with the boxing judges. They can exactly see a fight totally different than most analyists and fans. The perfect example was the first Lewis/Holyfield fight. Lewis in almost every1s opinion cruised to an convincing victory. The judges however seen it totally different. While 1 had Lewis winning, another judge had it a draw and another had Holyfield winning and thus ended in a draw. Whitaker/Chavez is another perfect example of what are the judges thinking?

If Calzaghe wins that then there might be that megafight against Hopkins for either the Light Heavyweight or Super Middleweight title. Hopkins wants the fight to be held at Yankee Stadium.

Won't happen. Calzaghe was gonna fight him years ago in Cardiff and Hopkins turned around and said his $4 million purse wasn't enough even though it would be the biggest pay day of his career. Calzaghe won't fight Hopkins in the States.

Money is on Hatton, I've liked him for ages. Shocking how long it takes to go thru the ranks in boxing, I remember him owning here for ages. I like his fights. He's such a fuckin' chav tho it's funny. Him and Rooney would make a great comedy duo.

Dunno...I cannot see Hatton winning this, Mayweather has never been caught offguard before, why will this be any different? If he decides to brawl then yeah Hatton will have a good shout, but again, when has Mayweather ever done that?

It'll likely just be another technical masterclass. I mean most people I know were spitting blood at the DLH decision, and its been shown that despite throwing like half as many punches as DLH he hit considerably more, thats fucking skill.

I like Ricky, and PBF is an egotistical twat who needs putting in his place, but I can't see this going any other way than another Mayweather victory.

Watching that weigh in live yesterday was funny as fuck. The crowd were insane. The guy trying to read the odds for the match made the mistake of telling them to be quite and listen got drowned out with song and jeers, his face was a picture Jeering Hopkins and singing Knock him Out to Calzage, awesome.

If the crowd at the fight are anything like this it will be incredible. And it's not ike Mayweather is a fan favourite in America anyway.

Gonna be an incredible fight, I can't pick a winner.
