I was waiting for you to bring up age. Batista is only about 5 years younger than Taker.

Also, great on adding ANOTHER wrestler (Triple H) who can get a good match out of a lot of people.

Thats the point, Batista CARRIED A PIECE OF CRAP like Mark Henry to a great match. Only a real pro can do that.

As far as age, maybe Batista is just a bit younger than Taker, but your numeric age is not always your physical age.

Batista is in great shape, he looks very young while Undertaker is in terrible shape he looks like an old man from a retirement home.

Thus, Undertaker is OLD at heart and anyone who sees Taker immediately sees how he moves and that he is old. With Batista though? People are SHOCKED that he is as old as he is because he acts and looks so young, so its not about ur numeric age, its about ur physical age and in that respect, the difference between Batista and The Undertaker is HUGE.

Taker is in MUCH better shape than Batista. Taker's had what, ONE big injury in a 20 year career? Batista has had at least two within 4 years.

Just because you're roided up and have the body of a body builder doesn't automatically make you in better physical shape.

I believe Undertaker had injuries before, but I did not watch him when he was young, but what I DO know is that wrestling style back then was completely different from today! Now its all high paced and extreme and risky, back then it was mostly on the mat and there wasnt much risk involved. Thus, it wasnt that Taker didnt get injured because he was "better", its just that the style was very minimal risk and thats why he didnt get injured as much.

Hey, if Batista started around the same time as Taker he wouldnt have been injured either because it was a very low risk enviroment and style.

I dont know if Taker was a better wrestler than Batista, its hard to compare because I have not seen much of Young Taker's work (since it was such a long time ago), but I am talking that today, Batista is the better wrestler because Taker is marred down.

Taker used to be in matches with powerbombs and piledrivers and wrestling that was about fifteen times as stiff as WWE is now. It wasn't even the hardest wrestling around: WCW and ECW had much stiffer wrestling. But it was sure as fuck harder than the shit today.

Taker debuted in WWE in 91. The bulk of his career happened in the hard hitting era.

I have to disagree here. Taker has been solid for the past few years. He slacked up a bit after he returned as the Deadman at Mania 20, but he's now constantly putting on very decent matches. Michaels/Taker at the Rumble was VERY well done. And, UH OH! They're both pretty old!

By your logic an old man can't carry someone else - physically or otherwise. So what about here? Michaels isn't in the best shape of his life, and apparently Taker is in the WORST shape (which is not true, he's probably in the best shape of his career). How did they manage to pull off one of the best Rumble finishes ever?

I've been disappointed with the WWE for years and years and years. But then again, I'm British, so I'd be disappointed if I WASN'T disappointed. We Brits like to be let down so we have something to talk about at the pub.
