lol not what I meant. I mean the actual programming of the games is much harder on the PS3 than it is on the 360. That is why the same game on both systems usually comes out better on the 360.

Including quite often graphically. That's not to say that the PS3 can't do better graphics. They just made it harder and less worth the while.

Having a Crippled last gen PC GPU isn't exactly helping the PS3's Cause. We know the Cell is Grunty, but Processor isn't everything.

In terms of what sells systems, a year later, the PS2 is still outselling the PS3. So the system that was the inferior technologically last gen, is still outselling the most advanced of this generation.

Still, most work fine, but their hardware failure is still too high for me to even consider getting one. It's sad that I'm actually kind of considering going for a PS3........ If it can ever get some games. Does any game uses the six axis?

360.

The Wii is more fun for multiplayer party games, but on the whole, 360 is the best of this generation. I was all set to buy a PS3, but I was looking over the racks of games at Best Buy and saw that 360 had about double the number of games I wanted to play, plus it was about $200 cheaper.

A couple of games do. Anyway, Hardware failure's no longer as high, and if you get a Falcon model, odds are you'll never RROD.

I didn't bother talking about Wii because BDC's pretty much made it clear that Wii ain't for him in that other thread. I mean, I'm not saying "BDC sucks; he doesn't like what I like," But it seems pointless to try and sell him on something that he won't like.

Wii's fun, and Galaxy alone is almost worth admission, but he's gonna enjoy standard console gaming more. And TBH, failure and all, 360's still where it's at. I don't really have an agenda; I go where the games are. And Microsoft has the games. Which is good for gaming, I think, because the PS3 is a bad model for gaming, like other high end systems before it, but I would have bought a PS3 had they made it worth my 600 bucks. I've got almost as many 360 games as I had PS2 games, and that's within a year of launch.

Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy vs. XIII or something, and then like Final Fantasy Agito XIII which is only for cell phones. I don't even know the difference or if they are all "mainstream" games or what.

Well, they ARE currently PS3 exclusives. Frankly, I don't give a crap about them anymore, but that's probably a feather to some.
