Yeah, the original plan was Triple H vs Shawn Michaels, and if they could have put together a match as great as their SummerSlam 2002 match, it would have been off the charts and this event would have been a 10/10, near perfect show.

Makes me wonder what they would have done with the Undertaker if the HBK match had gone ahead as planned. If memory serves me correctly, the Taker vs HHH match was only booked about a week before the show.

If Michaels had been free though, with the benefit of hindsight, I would have left Undertaker vs HHH unscathed because it really was a great match, and booked HBK vs Chris Jericho. That would have pissed all over Jericho/Regal from a match quality standpoint, even if it meant the IC title was off the card.

Give HBK/Jericho a half hour slot, and drop the six-man tag filler match. Hey presto, a virtually perfect WrestleMania.
