But you have to... how can, say, Unforgiven 2004 be my best PPV of the 2000s if I've already said WrestleMania X-Seven is my fave PPV of all time, at it took place in the 2000s?! And then you're asking my fave WrestleMania too... how can I choose anything other than?

You should blatantly watch WrestleMania X-Seven. However, if you've seen it before, and you've never seen any of the following watch one of these instead:
IV, VI, VIII, X, XIV, X8, XIX, XX, 21 |

Man, there's a reason why WrestleMania is the "granddaddy" huh? There are so many WMs from over the years ranging from very good to amazing. A couple of duds, but who's counting?

Can I just point out that Unforgiven 2004 is not my second favourite PPV of all time
I don't even remember the card or what the fuck happened, it was just off the top of my head.

Yeah it's the only consistently good ppv, even on the bad years there's always something to look forward to.
That's why there needs to be less ppvs. All PPVs could be big. Have 4 Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania King of The Ring Survivor Series |

Try this, I don't know if it's any good because I haven't tried, but there are tons of late 90s/00s PPVs apparently on this site. |

That Christian/Y2J ladder match kicked ass though.
But yes..that was also the beginning of Orton being lost for the next 2 1/2 years or so... |

Best Wrestlemania: To me was WM 19, top to bottom I felt the show delivered big time.
Best ROH show: Of the 4 offered so far I feel that MAN UP is the best right now. Every match was great, and if you have not seen Ladder War yet you HAVE to get a look at it! Best Indy: This is a tough one, reason being every show always seems to have its great memories, but I would have to say Glory By Honor 5 Night 2. The entire show shows you all the aspects that ROH can offer. Last edited by Heros Welcome; 01-21-2008 at 03:57 PM. |

Wrestlemania X7 is the best ppv/show/point is wrestling of all time. Like Neandercarl said, so great. Such a peak of all that was great about wrestling in the boom period. I just wish it went a stronger direction afterwards. The two man power trip and some of the early invasion stuff was great, but it all flew apart between May 01-2002.
What amazes me is that, as amazing as WM X7 was, it could have been better. -I don't think it would have been that bad of an idea to debut Booker T or DDP or someone big from WCW during the Shane/Vince match. It's Wrestlemania and the WCW was just bought a week earlier. This match was part of that storyline with Shane/Vince and they both ended up debuting at KOTR with much less impact. This doesn't mean the Invasion would have had to start right away. It just seems like it would have made a bigger splash for the show, the wrestler and the angle down the road. - Jericho opening and winning the IC was great, but this was at the peak of his WWF success and he was on the cusp of what should have been a huge push. It wasn't anything memorable. He had done it all a year prior, and they just were letting him tread water before they pushed him big in the summer. He could have been given a better gig than his angle/opener with Regal. -Guys like Tazz and Raven were in WWF, but could have been used way better on the card. -Angle/Benoit could have done way better -There was talk of HBK coming out of retirement for the event. In fact, at one point I think he was slated to but had a falling out with HHH and all kinds of attitude/drug problems. I think it'd have been amazing to see him and HHH have a match here and do something else with Taker. Or even put him in a program with the surging Y2J. Either way, it would have changed the card immensely if you had him to use. - I also still look at the TLC, and though it was absolutely amazing and a natural course of action to use it again, I think they could have thrown something else into the mix. Rhyno, Spike and Lita getting involved was great. But how about a 4th team in there? Were both members of the Outlaws under contract at the time? Tables ladders chairs and dumpsters?
