I'm reaching? I'm just going along with the spirit of the first post. Mr. Kennedy won MITB and he was never World Champion.

It doesn't really matter if it was JR that said it (awful commentator that he is), Michael Cole said it, or JBL said it. Mr. Kennedy did not win the Championship after winning MITB.
