Destroyed Show? Did you watch the same match I watced? Show toyed with Mayweather most of the match, and destroyed Mayweather's posse multiple times. And show wasnt booked as the better fighter, he was booked at the BIGGER fighter. Like I said, Mayweather is pound for pound the greatest fighter in the WORLD, not WWE, not UFC, not boxing, but the WORLD.

Like I said, Show dominated most of the match, right up until the end when it took atleast 5 stiff chair shots, and a solid right hand with KNUCKS to knock Big Show down, and he still almost made the count. I'm sorry but I think it was a good ending to the match, being as I KNEW Mayweather wasnt going to be brought into to job, but that's beside the point either way.

MAYWEATHER BEAT HIM WITH A STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND WITH BRASS KNUCKS!

Let a 135lb boxer have a clean shot at your jaw and see if you don't go down. It was completely realistic for an ending.

Show was booked before leaving as the BEST fighter in WWE. Every week on ECW he was made to look dominant. Mayweather OBVIOUSLY couldn't job. I'm just saying maybe a WRESTLER should have come out and worked over Show and then let Mayweather get the final shot in. That way, Mayweather wins the match and at the same time, it makes it look like it took a wrestler to help bring Show down in a wrestling match.

And on top of that, I just have a problem with the cocky heel beating the face who is fighting for respect of his entire locker room with help from his un-named posse. At WrestleMania no less. Just... no.

Ever think that maybe Mayweather will be back to work with WWE in the future? And by making him look strong helps them out down the road?

It's not like it was the Main Event or a World Title match, get over it.

Yes, because the main event and world title matches are the only matches where the outcome matters...

If that happens, kudos to WWE. However... honestly... if there is, say, a rematch at next years' WrestleMania between the two, Show needs to go over. Fuck it. Mayweather will have been given enough money where he can swallow his pride and finish his pro wrestling career at .500.

Look, if you can't see why, and how Mayweather went over than you're more challenged than those on the WWE creative team.

I could see how people might have a problem with the way Showed lost.

I expected more run-ins and everything to be thrown out there. Then I expected it to end with Show slipping on the proverbial bannana peel.

I can live with the outcome though.

1) I never said it was ruined. I was simply dissapointed. It was not as good as I thought it would be. Not just because of that match but also the lack of pretty much anything really major with the exception of Flair-Michaels and it's aftermath.

2) If you can't see how me saying "Mayweather OBVIOUSLY couldn't job..." means I CAN see why Mayweather went over, I think we know who is more challenged that those on the WWE creative team.

Basically, after all the promos of Mayweather just being a cocky prick heel and Show talking about how he was basically going to teach him not to disrespect him and his locker room, I was hoping for someone from the locker room to come out and help Mayweather win. That would have been much more ideal.

Especially after Mayweather tried to run away halfway through the match. It almost seemed "heroic" for the cocky heel to beat the face just trying to get respect. It just felt way out of wack to me.

JBL/Finlay - *** 1/2

Money In The Bank - **** - Jericho should have won

Batista/Umaga - ** - This match seemed cut short, it didn't have much of a story other than two really tough guys beating on each other for a few minutes. I thought this had potential to steal the show, boy was I wrong.

Kane/Chavo Guerrero - *** - Shows how brutal Kane is.

Shawn Michaels/Ric Flair - **** 3/4

BunnyMania - * - Self Explanatory

Orton/Cena/Triple - **** 1/2 - Best WWE Mania match since Wrestlemania 20

Floyd Mayweather/Big Show - *** 1/2 - Better then expected

Edge/The Undertaker - **** - Week Ending [/color]

I think I'll use my rating system with facey waceys.

JBL/Finlay - - Would of been a 4/5 as most openers I either miss or are shit. The extra point was lost cos i HATE the little bastard green thing. Not because of his, just 'him'. I just hate it. I so wanted Kennedy to be Vince's son back when that angle was on and well, I've hated him ever since as that was a waste angle in my opinion.

Money In The Bank - - If this was in any other PPV of the last few months it would have stole the show. But I mean, the moonsault with the ladder, the pop Matt Hardy got (it was like proper old skool pops for a returning wrestler, I swear even Trips didn't get that when he came back!), Shelton Benjamin just being himself. After the slip up to go for his spot took some "getting back on the horse", he couldn't have been as up for it as before! I just really really enjoyed it. - I was gonna give a 5, but I really think Punk should not have won. MVP would have been my logical choice, btu then I forgot about Hardy and this went well imo. So leaving Kennedy. I think there's no way of him winning the title, but his cocky persona would have gone into overdrive with the MITB tag. It was going well before, but that messed up..... Heck, even Benjamin as a shock over Punk easily!

Batista/Umanga - - Just lol @ the crowd. Umanga was loving it. I hate the way that WWE has fucked Umanga. I mean he has a comedy effort with Regal and the name, it makes people chuckle with him. His "robot" like movement with the quick head turns like he don't understand anyone or give a fuck is awesome. I didn't like him at first, but I like Umanga more and more. He is so fuckin athletic for his size and been as I hate Bats, I just think this does not make sense. But then again as i was saying, WWE has screwed Umanga. Before he was beast. But since his loss to Cena, he's gone proper wank. Must be the curse of John boy.

Kane/Chavo Guerrero - - Pfft.

Shawn Michaels/Ric Flair - - a zero, followed by a 5 star. Great match, think I would have liked Flair to have won and retired there and then by saying "I may not have a title, but I don't need it to feel on top of the world.... and here's where I go". Then get wrestlers come out and give him a good send off. Really did have some classic Mania moments.

BunnyMania - - The star is for Maria. I want to fuck that cunt so bad.

Orton/Cena/Triple - - I only gave it a 3 cos of the ending gaining an extra point. I loved it. About time a HEEL won. A nice swerve. About time. It was sudden and didn't feel so "scripted". A really nice and surprising finish!

Floyd Mayweather/Big Show - - They definitely pulled this off. So much better than I thought. Was believable and I think Mayweather sold well. Alot better than some fuckers in the ring full time too! 2 stars based on the WWE carrying it off and that we saw some brass knucks! Lovely stuff! Reminds me of Regal!

Edge/The Undertaker - - Just didn't give me the sense of a 5 star. I think the stupid idea of having a ref bomb it down to try to make the count and then "in the nick of time" Edge gets up. Just pure BS and ruined it all and whilst I like Edge's mini-stable and think it suits him. It should have been a clean match completely. Maybe have Charles Robinson come down to stop Hawkins and Ryder. Also do think it was fantastic though to see the submission manouvere finish it. Again, this helped get some of the BS from earlier dusted off it's cloak!

JBL vs. Finlay - **
  • Solid opener for the card. The buildup to this match wasn't huge so I didn't expect too much. It did it's job of getting the crowd excited though
MITB Ladder Match - ****
  • Good ladder match. The guys did a good job of selling the spots and coming up with some new innovative spots as well- something that's becoming harder to do as the years go by. The ending sequence captured the audience nicely.
Batista vs. Umaga - **
  • There was really no buildup to this match and I think that really was the main reason it wasn't as good as it could have been. I think that it's brevity was good though. Two big guys going out and throwing all of their big guns out shouldn't last too long, it should be short and hard-hitting. Also, the more I see it, the stiffer the Batista Bomb at the end looks to me, regardless of the botch. Maybe Batista channeled the spirit of Genichiro Tenryu or something.
Kane vs. Chavo Guerrero - N/A
  • It served it's purpose. Kept up the crowd energy and put Kane over as a monster. Let's just hope that Kane wasn't put over for nothing.
Flair v Michaels- *****
  • Great match. My co-match of the night. There's nothing really else to say about this, you just kinda have to watch it.
BunnyMania- **
  • Again, served it's purpose. Due to the technical malfunctions during the match and the fact that it had to follow Flair/Michaels, the crowd wasn't as hot as it could have been. Still, I don't think this could have been anything over ***
HHH v Cena v Orton- ***1/2
  • Really good match. Cena and HHH seemed to cancel each other out, while Orton was consistently able to find opportunities. Made complete sense given the booking of this match. Nice surprise ending.
Big Show v Floyd Mayweather- ***
  • Bottom line, the crowd was into it. Sure, it wasn't the greatest wrestling match, but it wasn't supposed to be. The match was just to draw attention and get the crowd hot. It did both.
Edge v Undertaker- *****
  • My other match of the night. Honestly, I think if you compare the in-ring work with the Flair/HBK(M) match with the Edge/Taker match, the Edge/Taker match was better. The match told a great story with Edge countering/kicking out of all of Taker's big moves and then getting caught with something relatively new. However, this match had nowhere near the same emotion as the Flair/HBK(M) match, which is why I think they tied for match of the night.
