I really, really like Swagger, but I think it is way too early to put the belt on him. The ECW Title just hasn't been booked consistently strong enough for it to elevate a new guy rather than be brought down to said new guy's level when he wins it.

That being said, yes, the guy is going to be big. If he doesn't go to MMA, that is.

I think this title win means that Jack Swagger has been the quickest guy to win a World Title into his WWE career. He's done it in a bit over four months. I think Brock Lesnar did it in about five? He is just a bit older than Lesnar was when he won his first World Title.

Also, despite being billed as undefeated, Jack Swagger has lost a tag team match to Tommy Dreamer & Finlay.

I can think of plenty ideas.

I have not problem with Swagger, haven't seen enough to make a call. But I do think him winning the ECW title serverly tarnishes it small amount of preseige. I think Vince was a better choice, cause at least people know who Vince is, and it was a decent story line.

I now believe TNA Title > ECW Title.

It was a pretty good match. The irony of them basically reusing the finish from Razor Ramon/Diesel for the IC title for the ECW title.

Matt starts his matches of good, but then near the end he gets into autopilot mode, where he just goes for his spots and that's that. Maybe a reversal here or there and then the finish. I'm not saying it's Matt's fault, I think they've booked him to be too reliant on moves like the Side Effect or going to the second rope and yelling "AGHHHHHHH!!!!" That pretty much goes for everybody actually. I think it's just especially noticeable with Matt because he has to try like three times before completing the Side Effect, always.

Seriously though, I consider ECW a glorified, televised feeder league for WWE. The title is pretty meaningless other than to provide a focal point for the main event of the show.

John Morrison - who was on both Raw and Smackdown before winning the title
CM Punk - who made it on a few PPV before winning the title
