They're more than the match than the referee. Also a step above a manager or a corner man. They're like the steel cage or the ladder. In the singles match.

I think it's safe to say that the ladder has proven itself to be a pretty reliable main eventer. It's never failed a drug test, it's always on time, puts over every one else to the belt...I think it's the ideal main eventer.

He did gain a point for holding the title, but he was also on the losing side of a 3 man tag match last week on raw, so in effect it cancelled out a point change.

It is +3 point for any midcard title, +4 for ECW or TNA World Title, +5 for WWE or WHC, for simply holding the title. You get +1 point a week for continuing to be champion. Also, if you lose a title you lose -1 a week till it reaches 0. Now if by chance you lose one title only to pick another one up, the weekly title counter continues to rise, which works nicely for Edge.
