Im willling to bet someone just read that and in a fit of uncontrollable rage knocked their limited edition Skywalker action figure (still in the packaging of course) on the floor. Then picked it up and consoled it while crying in the corner. However, that tender moment was cut short when mommy called you up from your "apartment" (the basement) to set the table for dinner.

Both are great, but Star Wars is clearly better. Darth Vader is the greatest movie villan of the last 30 years, and possibly the greatest ever.

Who cares if John McLane is tougher than whoever? Wolverine is nearly indestructable, and Wolverine sucked ass. There are all kinds of superpowered or non-superpowered "heroes", but their movies suck.

Die Hard does not suck, but you get the trend.

In all honesty, if it were any of the other star wars movies, I'd pick die hard. But Empire is definitely better.

It's also kinda different when you don't know that vader is luke's father, or that yoda was the little green guy all along. I'm old enough where where it wasn't common knowledge when I first saw it.

Die Hard was great but it didn't throw out any curveballs like that.
