I agree with this.

Another thing I'd like to add is this: I believe that the WWE turned Kennedy into a face WAY too prematurely. I thought Kennedy did a great job as a heel during his feud with Flair. Unfortunately, this is a mistake that the WWE have continuously made throughout the years. Instead of taking a GREAT heel and making him an even GREATER heel (to the point where the fans absolutely love the character which can then lead to a huge face turn somewhere down the road), the WWE 'blows their load' and turns said wrestler into a lukewarm face. Time and time again, the WWE have done this since 2001.

-Kurt Angle
-Eddie Guerrero
-Brock Lesnar
-Randy Orton
-Santino Marella
-Ken Kennedy

etc., etc. Just too many examples.

I would not mind seeing Kennedy on SmackDown!, fully patriotic to the brand, cutting promos about how RAW is a shithouse and he's going to take them down. Could be entertaining, at least.

Something to think about in reference to Kennedy: How many feuds did the guy actually have? I mean proper feuds. He had his stuff with Shawn Michaels, and I think he and MVP were teaming against Kane & The Undertaker regularly at one point. He also had tension with Finlay over him beating on Hornswoggle. But really, Kennedy was never involved in a really personal program with anyone. I find that really odd.

He had a one-off pay-per-view match with 'Taker because he complained of being bored with SmackDown! and wanting to move (9/8/6 ep. of SD! to be specific), which led to Teddy making a match for No Mercy between Kennedy and Undertaker but that was it, unless you count him teaming with M.V.P. to face the Kane and Undertaker in a series of tag matches. Other than that, there was a First Blood match that arose out of that between the two at Survivor Series '06.

Not much of a "feud", if you ask me.

Not gonna lie, really have not given a shit about Mr. Kennedy for at least 2 years now. I know wrestling is full of nonsensical things, but I really got overwhelmingly sick of his promos and the saying of his name twice. Combined with the fact that he seemed to have a new finisher every 5.3 weeks and that, when he finally did stick with one, it looked weak as shit.

So yea, unless he shows up somewhere and shows tremendous improvement, I wouldn't care if I ever saw him wrestle again.

You exaggerated terribly about Kennedy's finishing maneuvers. On SD! and up until his injury on RAW, Kennedy only used the Kenton Bomb and the Green Bay (or Pepsi) Plunge, originally using a steamroller like maneuver with the other guy on his shoulders, from the top rope, later switched to being a ground maneuver which was much less impressive. He then switched to the Mic Check, which I hated because to me it just seemed lazy. I mean, compare the Mic Check to former WWE star Muhammad Hassan's Flatliner finisher...there's virtually NO DIFFERENCE!

Also, Kennedy's promos were gold.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure CM Punk did the Pepsi Plunge, which was a Top Rope Pedigree. I'd love to see him bust that out against Shawn Michaels if they ever feud. Or even against Triple H as a standing variant (aka, just a Pedigree he calls "The Pepsi Plunge").

The Green Bay Plunge was called the Lambeau Leap early in his WWE stint, and was also called JFK ("Just Finished by Kennedy").
