It's going to go nowhere. If they send you the dvd that's awesome, but they probably don't care nor should they. You've known how the WWE product operates for a while now yet you poured your money into it.
I reccomend you make a real stand and stop spending copious amounts of cash on them. That's actually making a point. After all, they gave you that cash. Are you going to hand it right back?

You should have set your demands higher. You should have dropped that you were their prize winner and list all the purchases you make, and all the events you go to. And you should have talked about how its making you question your plans to attend major events in the future.
Demand tickets or a peice of expensive merchandise or something. Or a personal phone call from a WWE superstar. Get results damnit!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the D-Generation X reunion, but the comedy segments are "hit and miss" and I also feel Triple H and Shawn Michaels' talents could be best used elsewhere...like the main event.

The DX thing last night (With the exception of the final segment in the ring which I found tolerable) was the most nauseating, shitty attempt at entertainment I think I've ever seen. It's so out of touch with reality. I've seen more clever material on episodes of Jerry Springer.

I hear ya about the sign thing, regardless of whether or not buying a ticket or tickets to a WWE event constitutes a "contract" between fan and promoter or not. It's one thing to not be able to cheer and boo vocally whoever the hell you please at one of their live events (something which has never happened to me, nor have I been stopped by dirty looks or comments from people around me, I just keep going till I feel like stopping), but it's ridiculous to try and stifle fans' creative, non-vocal support/dislike of a certain superstar who Vince refuses to stop pushing through outer space.

I also find it somewhat hypocritical that WWE allows digital photography at their events but not recording. I realize the fear is that some jerk will try to record the whole thing and burn it onto a bunch of cheap DVD-R's and sell them for big bucks on the streets, but I'd be willing to bet the vast majority, if allowed to shoot video, would simply use it to upload videos to YT and the like, to show others that "Hey, this is what all went down at (show here)..." Completely harmless, except for the one jerk out of every, maybe 100,000 fans or so worldwide.

I agree. Nobody is going to buy a pirated, handi-cam version of a WWE PPV. One camera, one position; who the fuck is going to spend money on that?


As far as DX goes, I have to agree with the negative sentiments that have already been posted. DX worked in the 90's because they were edgy and made it their mission to offend people. It seems that their new plan of attack is not to offend, but to annoy people with their childish and hokey antics. And one thing about the old DX is that they did joke around and make fun of people, but they also got serious when the time came. They took care of business. The new DX is just a walking punch-line, and everytime they show up, you're just waiting for the midget to pop up. Excuse me, "small person."

The problem is that the kids and the less educated find this new version of DX to be entertaining. I make it a point to visit a local bar every time a WWE PPV is playing, and there's another guy who's always there with whom I have made a kind of acquaintanceship. This guy is like 30, but he's a total mark. He roots on certain guys as if they're actually out there fighting. He pays attention to the storylines as if they were the real deal (I.E. he thought John Cena would lose at TLC because of the powerslam through the table he took on the previous RAW). And he loves DX. He loves the skits with Hornswoggle. He laughs at their jokes and their skits. DX is completely over with this guy. And since I imagine there are thousands more like him all over the United States, I can't help but wonder if the WWE knows exactly what they're doing with DX and John Cena.
