The guy who got attacked went by the name of "Dr. X". Usually he is a security guard but I guess there were a few wrestlers that didnt come since it was Easter, so they had to use him.

The politics in wrestling has been well documented at times, and some of the stuff that goes on backstage within no doubt all wrestling events is very heated. Myself being a British Indy worker, I see first hand what can happen with wrestlers ego's backstage, for me it can ruin a good night, if the shows gone well.

I did a show for a promotion I regulary work for in Britain, the Combat Sports Federation, now having being in the company for around 2 years (Wrestling proper matches for just ove a year now) this last show I did the atmophere backstage was the best backstage atmosphere I've ever been in, because several workers who usually cause the trouble weren't working.

The point is things between guys can be very heated backstage at times, but when getting into the ring, you should be professional about it, the most you'll get in a stiff match, but you just have to get on with it, this situation seems to me like its a work, I know you said that you found out it isn't, but it probably is, being the Bad to the bone promotion or whatever its called there probably quite hardcore and this was a work. The guy just might of gone a little far by hitting hit that many times.

Holy shit. This isn't related directly to this subject, but I thought to post it here. I was downloading a bunch of wrestling clips, furthering my library... And decided tonight I felt like downloading some ECW matches. Well, I found a few music videos as well, I usually download those when I can because there are alot of sick moves packed into one video.

Oh my god, I winced. One of them was entitled, "Wrestling Isn't Fake." The first ten seconds weren't for the weak at heart. Just watching them had my heart pounding, my adrenalin pumping... What did that to me so randomly, you ask?

There was a guy with a pair of scissors outside the ring. He had a handful of this guy's hair. He takes the scissors, and slits the guy's forehead. No, I did not say nick, I said SLIT, as in, you SLIT someone's throat, blood gushes out. The guy has the most agonizing scream I have ever heard in my life.

THEN, right after that, the mother fucker slits the guy's arm three quarters of the way around. Again, I stress, SLITS his arm. They show clips of the guy profusely bleeding, and I swear to god the skin was loose and open all along his arm, and was FLABBING. It was wrong. It was very wrong.

PM me if you have AIM and want to see the clip. Also, kids, don't do drugs, some shit just does not belong in wrestling.

Sorry to bump this topic up, but I thought I'd give a little update on the situation.

I have a friend who knows the guy who got hurt. Apparently the guy who got hurt had to go to the hospital and get over 120 stitches and some staples in the back of his head. He also has gone to the court house and is trying to sue BBW.

My brother is currently looking into getting some professional wrestling training so he talked to the owner of BBW about maybe getting some from there. While they were talking, my brother brought up the incident and the owner responded "I watched that tape over and over and I never saw him get hit in the head. Not once." After that, he quickly changed the subject. He must think we're stupid because we were sitting in the very front row and saw everything that happened. It sounds to me like the owner knew this was going to happen and was probably in on it too.

It makes me sick to know there are people like this who could care less about somebody's life.
