Ok, look at Clox post, and tell me it isnt painfully obvious its not about the game. Obviously black font is spoilers, but him making sure to point that out. It was too obvious, and Im like that is definatly about me.

and anyways, I have only read ones that I am for certain are not about the game (Cloxs and yours)

This game is fantastic. I got it at the midnight release at my local gamestop, which had a line of about 5-600 people. Had to get there like 4 hours early to get a decent place in line.

The only gripe I have is that there is way less optional/bonus activities and missions than in previous GTA games. But I understand that this is due to the jump in technology from the previous gen GTA games to this. Just as VC and SA had way more to do than GTAIII, the next game (or possibly the DLC) will obviously address this. Either way, hella fun game. In fact, I think it is time to pick up Brucie, get drunk, and go bang some broads.

You get to date Packie's sister later in the game, even though he tells you not to when you first meet him.

So, did you think that wasn't a spoiler, smart ass?

Finally got this yesterday. Love it. Played Free Mode online for hours. Friends and I were just blowing the shit out of cops all night. Story is good so far too. I was worried after reading about people having issues with the controls but I haven't had a problem yet.

So, question, I'm done with the "First Date" and "Bleeding Me" missions, and I'm waiting for the "Easy Fare" mission. Do I have to complete a certain number of side missions to initiate it?

Finally unlocked Manhattan.

Gotta say...my biggest annoyances so far are that:

A) Every mission I find myself having to drive halfway across the map to save my game (I turned autosave off because I like screwing around with cheats when I'm not doing missions and I don't want it to save on me and screw up)
and
B) There is ALWAYS a cop there when I steal a car. Like every time. The wanted level is easy enough to lose, especially since the cop is usually just on foot...but it pisses me off that I can't really commit a crime without getting noticed.

Aside from those little annoyances...I love this game.

I find the Taxi an awesome addition for when I don't feel like driving half way across the city to, for example, pick someone up or to save.

I just got the game this past Friday and I am quite amazed with it.

I've read about some people having issues with vehicle control, although I haven't really found any issues. I find that driving while in 1st person is much easier all around...which is hilarious. I couldn't quite pull it off in San Andreas well enough to make it enjoyable.

I'm kind of iffy on them re-releasing the old maps as-is (though I just believe that's a reference to SA). While, yeah, they were great, but the new Liberty City set a new standard for detail.

Honestly I'd rather see them re-done than re-textured and with the GTAIV engine thrown on top of it.

Overall, though, I think it's more realistic that they release the three cities than the entire map. Though this opens a new problem in "where did the rest of the map go" when you can just go between the three like their connected.

They need to remake Vice City first. Miami ftw.

But most likely it'll be the surrounding land [they already coded and mapped] before they decided to make Liberty City deeper.

Yeah, people are gonna need more space. GTA is gonna sell some 120gigs.

This SA rumor has been going on for a couple of days now and I'm not buying it. There have been these kinds of things in each of the GTA games so I don't see why it would be any different this time.

I honestly don't believe they'd recreate something as big as SA as only DLC anyway.

Oh, I see. I'd need more proof then what is out there to get excited about the idea of them recreating one of the other cities but I wouldn't put it past them to fully detail the area if they were going to.

It was pretty simple actually. Just drive to the station, the yellow marker will hopefully be there and initiate that mission. I'm having a hell of a time with that mission.
