I think I'll just buy the Attribute Editor and DLC Pack 2. Fan Axxess isn't worth it for me since I want to unlock shit on my own and DLC Pack 3 hardly seems worth it even with a cool arena (no new characters = no buy)

It's slightly more.

But...Stephenson just confirmed, if you buy Fan Axxess, you have no choice on whether or not to use it. It unlocks EVERYTHING automatically. So if you want to unlock stuff the old fashioned way, you need to skip Fan Axxess.

I dunno. The problem is, a lot of characters are hidden in WWE Universe Mode and you can only unlock them by beating them. But you have to hope the game actually gives you the chance to do so, since the generated storylines are random.

I'm a little bummed at that news. I already purchased Fan Axxess based on getting the DLC for cheap. I basically assumed you'd get the option to unlock everything or not.

Kinda stupid to put these two things together really. 'Unlock everything' should be an in game cheat to be honest.

That's awful. Luckily, I don't have Live still for a bit so I'll inlock everything manually before I can download it.

No I agree with Funky. The achievements would likely be given for the actions you do to unlock the character, not the unlocking itself.

Would be funny as hell as the actual unlocking gave you the achievement popup. A constant barrage of bloop-bloop-bloop-bloop-bloop would be worth getting Fan Axxess.

Per Stephenson, in WWE Universe you cannot defend any of the default unlocked titles (WWE, WHW, IC, US, Tag, Womens, Divas) anywhere but on PPVs.

Just seems like another one of those head-scratching decisions that was made solely so they'd have something to fix next year. Much like the ability to edit downloaded CAWs.

My curiousity over which random jobber is in one of the last 2 SmackDown spots was all for naught. They've deleted the spot and suddenly moved it over to Legends. Mickie James is obviously the last SmackDown person.

Just noticed the same thing, seems a bit weird to do that at this stage. If it's legit then I would personally prefer an extra legend being in over a guy like Jimmy Wang Yang.

Been confirmed that this years 'novelty character' is Undertaker's Druid. They play a part in his RTWM and you can play as them.
