I can't get over how much Requiem came across these last few pages, as some random nub on Xbox live throwing mindless insults at everyone hoping his friends laugh. Very unappealing.

I think what really keeps me from picking this game up again, and going through the story for the second time. Is knowing that I will eventually make it to Mexico, where the majority of missions are long and tedious. New Austin is fun mostly, as is Blackwater and beyond.

Online isn't that great either. FFA has some of the absolute atrocious spawns.(Yes I have played MW2) Plus once you play 4 or 5 matches you've pretty much experienced all 2 game modes on every map.

Fun game for sure, but nothing extraordinary after the shine wears off.

Yeah Req, simmer down chief.

I understand the complaint about formulaic, repetitive, boring missions (Just played We Shall Be Together In Paradise today, Jesus Christ was I ever ready for that thing to be over 2 minutes in), but I think the combination of the story, the sheer beauty of the world, and the variety of fun little distractions overrides that. I can see someone getting bored with it though.

Oh I did get to ride the bull the other night. Was messing about with a friend in Free Roam when we came upon this guy racing along on a bull. Dude was very nice and polite, even let us take turns riding his bull.

Yeah, I got carried away and went overboard, but come on. I agreed with a post that said he was retarded for a very specific thing, and called him a hypocrite later. He then goaded me on.. my next comment was a joke (I said he failed at fun.. come on, you people call that slinging insults?), and he responded with "clean the saliva off your face and fuck off". (as if that's not going to incite something?)

Yeah, the 'suicide for dummies' pic was a step too far, but nothing else in that same post was anywhere near 'rage'. He then responded with a STRING of insults, and none of my replies following that were anywhere near the rage that he'd elevated to at that point.

So whatever. He took the confrontation just as far as I did, so stop acting like I'm the only one being a douche. And yeah, I was kind of a douche at times, but he's not a fucking saint in this either.
