Me and Swagger won a match and in a post-scene beat down where we destroy Brodus and Zack, Dolph Zigglers music is playing. Dolph is nowhere to be found and my CAW does not use Dolphs music.

It should be known that I haven't even made it to the first PPV yet.

Might explain a bit why there isn't a single review from any big noteworthy place and not even IGN who usually gets special treatment by THQ doesn't have a review up either.

Just had my first branch. Match between Primo and Epico and my CAW came down to help Primo who I was controlling. After the match, my CAW gives him a chair and I can choose to beat Epico with it or leave him alone.

Figured out the problem here. My CAW and Swagger got to the point where they could become a team, but instead of create a new team, it just put me in Ziggler & Swagger and booted Dolph out.

Primo has just joined the team known as "Ziggler and Swagger".

Even IGN basically say Universe is broken. I know a lot of you guys are like me and your purchase hinges on that (and servers).

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME FOR THE UNIVERSE MODE. IT IS STILL A BROKEN MESS.

Wait until next week to hear about the servers. Even if they're fine from Tuesday, the rest of the world will have it by Friday.

I never really got into Universe. I usually just do storylines in either Create-A-Story or in Exhibition. Of course, I sold WWE12 back to GameStop in February too.

My copy from Amazon has shipped, and will arrive to me tomorrow. Originally was gonna be Wed., but it got bumped up to tomorrow. If it’s mostly junk, I will probably play it for the experience of Attitude Era Mode, which is supposed to be the best thing about it, and then sell it @ GS.

Multiplayer is weak compared to DoR2. Customizations are nice if I can download other peoples creations when the server isn't taking a shit and when I have a framework to use it in like Universe.

Think the only scenario I would put this on for multiplayer ahead of DoR2 is for guest ref, which was always fun in No Mercy.

I think I could get around Universe's idiocy, I ended up having fun in WWE 12 when I would just let ridiculous shit happen and turn it into a Wrestlecrap Universe.

Not worth $60 though.

Really, because I had a blast with WWE12's multiplayer last year. I'm personally done comparing this series to ten year old wrestling games that simply will not come back or have their legacy challenged ever. No Mercy was awesome. DoR2 was awesome. I know that, I've said that.

WWE12 was fun multiplayer and the adjustments made with 13 points to a smoother experience. There's too many options and ways to play to just generalize it by saying, "Well it's not as good as [insert early 2000s wrestling game here]".

All it needs are interruptible moves and I'm down. Like proper ones, not this stumbling crap that WWE 12/13 give you. It needs the insanity of a good party game because no-one I know gives a fuck "who's the best" at a wrestling game and the only entertainment we really had out of WWE 12 in multiplayer were the crazy physics bugs.

It doesn't matter if it doesn't come back or not. I play DoR2 with non-wrestling fans because it's crazy fun so nobody cares about the roster either. If the multiplayer wrestling game I want already exists and I own it, why settle for second best just because it's newer and shinier?

Can you seriously have a 4ply ladder match or even a standard tag team match where unlike actual WWE TV anything can indeed happen - and tell me you'll be fantasizing about the old games the whole time? How often do you actually explore the multiplayer?

I mean by now you guys know I haven't the patience for campaign as I once did and multiplayer is make it or break it for a lot of games I get into. The WWE series, since the beginning imo, was about Create-A-______ and getting a bunch of controllers and going crazy.

It blew my mind in the last few years that story-modes got that important to the point of people buying/not buying the game over it. And quite frankly it's something I don't think any game will ever get right.

I finally got enough 360 pads and PCSX2 working well enough that I introduced them to HCTP as well now. Drunk grown men almost in tears laughing at a man on a motorbike grabbing someone by the throat and launching them around while another man in a forklift chases after them is something that modern games lack. I don't even mean modern wrestling games there, just general craziness in games in general.

Need a Wii U Wario Ware for that type of thing ASAP.

Michael Cole and JR are so annoying during submission holds. Whoever is applying it, they keep saying "Good reversal by X" "Oh, well scouted by X" "X saw that coming!" thinking they are in a string of reversals instead of an actual submission hold.

That's not a random occasional bug. It happens every single submission.

Couple of achievements seem glitched. One is to compete for a custom championship in a custom arena with a custom superstar. The other is beating Taker on legend at WM, but this might just have to be done in Universe mode rather than exhibition.
