That's the biggest part of the problem right there. They come out with another disc every fucking year now. SFIV vanilla sold just as much as MK. That's it right there. Argument over.

The sales were made of die hard players and people who missed out on vanilla. AE is the same thing, but worse. Add to that the fact that it's also available as DLC for SSFIV.

Cyber Sub Zero: Haven't unlocked him yet, but according to you his revenge move starts in the air. No idea about the move or its damage, save the input: Pull L + R triggers.

Zangief: Ultra 1 is a throw combo. Opponent must be on the ground and within throw range. Extreme damage. Input: 720 degree rotation, PPP.

Ultra 2 is an anti air combo throw performed in the air. Opponent must also be in the air. Extreme damage. Input 720 rotation, KKK (must be in air).

I'll give you Sektor's. That's rather unique. Probably high damage to counter the rare circumstances. However, it seems like everyone in MK has a projectile of some kind. Input: pull the triggers.

Cyrax: Revenge move is an anti air (big surprise for the anti-air character, eh?). High damage, despite frequent jumping in MK. Input: triggers.

T. Hawk: Ultra 1 is a throw combo. Extreme damage. Opponent must be on the ground and within throw range. Input: 720 rotation, PPP.

Ultra 2 is an anti air throw combo. High damage. Opponent must be in the air (range is very specific, jobs to other ultras activated at the same time). Input: double HCB, PPP.

OR

Vega's Ultra 1, since it has a such a disgustingly impractical input. Anti air combo, but can pull taller characters up off the ground if they're in the right spot. Extreme damage. Input: Charge down/back, down/forward, down/back, up/forward, PPP.

As for rushdowns, half the SF roster has them no need for details.

Anyway, Street Fighter is an extremely complex game. Almost all of the ultras mentioned have horribly punishable recovery time if whiffed/blocked. The ultras are pretty varied too. No argument here, just proof. Not embedded because it's interactive and you'll need to back up to see all of them. The only thing I don't in that video is that some ultras are delayable/have armour properties/have variations/have variable range/are cancelable and they don't show that. Ask these guys about My Bison and his tricky ass Ultra 2. Never know what side it's gonna hit you on.

Been going up against a fuckton of shadow spamming Noob Saibots today. Nobody I can play "well" as has a teleport move. It's somewhat troubling.

Noob cant touch smoke if you use the shake move against projectiles

the 360 collector's edition was $45 on amazon, so i went ahead and got it because i wanted the bookends. they are awesome





it came with an online pass, classic ermac, and scorpion avatar clothes. dunno what i'm going to do with them yet. sold the game for $50

Huge patch recently released with the focus more on fixing online multiplayer issues but also contains a ton of character specific tweaks.

* Fixed a couple of crash scenarios.
* DLC billboards should now behave correctly on Xbox
* You should no longer see online desyncs on Xbox that are related to alternate costumes or classic costume DLC packs.
* MOTD handling and displaying code was tweaked.
* Fixed a bug that could have resulted in tweakvars getting corrupted.
* Fixed a crash in player select if you tried to exit out while the dlc box was open.
* With the exception of Human Cyrax and Human Sektor, everyone's alternate costumes should behave the same as their primary costumes and have the exact same move properties.
* You can now block after a dash forward is completed if it was cancelled into from a special move. Canceling out of a dash into another dash was normalized for most of the characters. Dash Block canceling remains the same.
* Wakeup attacks should have better invulnerability on them if done in the first 4 frames of the wakeup window. (this was added as a hotfix tweakable value)
* You no longer get a completely free throw attempt after someone blocks your jump punch. The opponent has less block hit frames but chained combos from a jump punch will remain the same.
* There were several reactions that could freeze players just before they landed from attacks and reactions such as Kano's Airball and Cyrax's Net air reaction.
* Made many minor hitbox adjustments.
* Tweaked the negative edge window.
* Several low attacks were being parried incorrectly.
* Nightwolf and Kenshi can no longer still absorb a projectile if they get hit out of their enhanced reflects before the recovery frames start.

Bought this today for £12. Seems pretty fun but I need to know, is the krypt nothing but artwork, BGM and fatalities? Is there anything else? Funny videos, behind the scenes, new costumes, characters or stages?

Believe besides the artwork, BGM, and fatalities it also contains the alternative costumes and extras for Test Your Luck Mode (ex. headless combat).

If you have the Komplete version you get all the costumes unlocked including Mileena special costume. Not sure about the Test Your Luck stuff but you do get all the DLC and hidden characters unlocked from the start as well.

I've bought a bunch of stuff from the Krypt and I've yet to find anything fun. I have a bunch of speed painting and stick figures and a few fatalities for character I've not even used yet, though.

Had a quick check of a complete list. It really is nothing but artwork and a few new fatalities. So absolutely nothing worth buying in the krypt.
