Surely Dana can't make a decision yet about Leben being a coach yet, that would mean not fighting Wandy until like May or June 2011 etc and that's nearly a full year away. If he beats somebody else in the meantime maybe.

I'm thinking the same thing. I doubt Leben wants to take 6 months off either, unless he's afraid of killing his own momentum.

Guy's got a mouth and is apparently a decent coach. If he can get a bit more 'exposure' in the near future, I don't see why not.

Wanderlei is going to be off for over a year probably... thats why the idea was in leban's head. Wanderlei needs surgery I believe.

I didn't know he had a reputation of being a good coach. If he does then all the power to him ..I just remember him from the house and losing alot of fights. Kinda like a Jardine. Always a threat to beat anyone but can lose to anyone.
But he looked great saturday . I'm sure if he coaches all his fighters will be using his signature foot stomping techinque . |

Oh wait I get what you said . Up until he lost to Silva he was undefeated.
I meant to say I remember him losing a bunch of fights ,overall in his UFC career up until now. |

Holy fucking shit! Just finished watching it last night with some friends. Insane main event.
Shame Lesnar won, I was rooting for Carwin, but obviously you could see Carwin was completely out of it when Lesnar took him down. But the first round was amazing. Who ever imagined a complete domination on behalf of Carwin like that? Making Lesnar run for a brief second and just completely destroying him. He may have lost, but you don't make a guy like Lesnar back up unless you really are one tough one of a bitch. Great fight and great performance from both guys. I'm eagerly awaiting a rematch. If Carwin can work on his conditioning it will be a war! P.S. When Carwin winked I assumed it was to the camera? Oh well, cool moment anyway. |
