Like they don't have enough stuff to sue over, ie Robbie E/Zack Ryder, most of the ECW stuff last yr, doing storylines where their stars get accused of going back to WWE (Christian & Angle) etc.

Dude, let me just start by saying you know how much I love you. But c'mon, lets be honest. WWE DID reach out to Sting, that has been acknowledged. And if Vince had of gotten him, he would have done everything in his power to let TNA know.

I don't have a problem with what TNA has done with this 3.3.11 promo, and if it was the other way around, and we all need to admit Vince would do the same if that was the case, everyone would be saying how hilarious it was for him taking the piss out of TNA.

Good on them for having a win occasionally I say. Am I a TNA fan? No. Will I watch the show? No. But I just feel that no matter what they do, TPWW will always feel the need to hate on them. Cause we're too cool for the company.

you're kidding me right? Vince hasn't ackowledged TNA one time since the company went into business. How do you even make a comment like that? Vince is about to make bank in a month, so I really don't think he'd be salivaitng over how to make TNA eat it

I've never heard that WWE ever reached out to Sting this year. I know they were aware of the rumors, but I haven't heard anything that said he was ever in contact. There could be evidence out there, I won't deny that, but I haven't heard it.

And why would Vince do something TNA did? If he was in TNA's position (distant number two) of course he would, and it would be pathetic. But I honestly don't think WWE would actively go out of their way to copy a TNA promo so blatantly. And if they did? Honestly, I don't know how I'd feel about it. Probably would laugh it off. But again, I could NEVER, as the distant number 1 promotion, see WWE do something as blatant as this.

I give TNA credit where it's due, and this promo is NOT one of those times. Will it ruin TNA? No. But to me it makes them come off as second rate, and that's not a good thing.

They should have left things as is and just had Sting appear on the broadcast with no build. It would have had more impact.

Yeah ok so maybe I'm going off rumors, but I'm pretty sure it was confirmed a while ago that they were reaching out for him. And while WWE may not have openly acknowledged TNA on TV like TNA has them, they have in other ways.

My point was purely that there is too much TNA hate here. And this angle isnt that bad, and going off and calling them pathetic for it is just ridiculous.

Quite easily. What I was saying is that if Vince had of gotten Sting, somewhere along the line something directed at TNA would have happened.

And as for the "Win" I meant the promo, not Sting himself.

I think TNA sucks.

The constant ringside attendance of the owner and their IMPACTS being in a building that resembles a high school gym, turns me off.

Not to mention being taped on Thursdays... Like who wants to watch wrestling after Tuesday?

But.. I watched the 3.11.11 promo, and I have to say, WAY TO GO TNA!

It's about time you do something to interest the fans.

TNA is falling into even worse traps than the WWE at the moment. I understand the business in putting the TNA World Title on Sting. He's a hot topic at the moment, and the 3.3.11 promos try and compare him to The Undertaker (and even Triple H). Will people buy Sting on that level? Yeah, maybe. The dude is now a 13-time World Champion, pretty much. But man -- I wouldn't be taking shots at the WWE, Eric. Look at your house.

I love that sting is champ. Give him a strong reign with it, and have a younger guy who hasn't held it yet, like pope, beat him.

Main event spot permanantly solidified.

This only works if they never speak of that hilarious promo ever again. I believe TNA acknowledges WWE far too much. They shouldn't acknowledge WWE at all tbh, because every time they do, they embarrass themselves.

To illustrate my point: If an average wrestling fan watches that promo air on iMPACT!, are they going to think "Haha, TNA stuck it up Vince's ass on that one!" or "What a fucking ripoff of WWE." Was the director and producers of "Paranormal Entity" taking the piss out of the director/producers of "Paranormal Activity"? Parody implies humor, and there is nothing about that promo that was funny. There skit of Vince McMahon coming to iMPACT! and suing over their commercial fiasco a few years ago was a parody. This just comes off as bush league. Its a cool looking promo, but WWE just finished up the same thing THIS WEEK.

Probably should have made this clear: I understand that TNA probably wants this to come off as a parody, but to majority of the potential wrestling audience it comes off as nothing more than a rip-off. Inside jokes aren't made for mass appeal...which is the point of a global wrestling promotion.

Can't believe I agree with Steele on something but hey.

The whole promo comes off as complete bush league. It's not witty, it's not funny, almost anyone who isn't a TNA follower is just going to see it as a TNA trying to steal from WWE. It's just poor business.
