It doesn't matter for me this week, one of my teams will win, one will lose

I think i'd rather have Indy pick up the win though, as they need it more right now.

Minnesota can then beat Green Bay next week, Indy can beat Houston, and Detroit can beat Jacksonville.

Unless coughlin has changed, he's always been known to work his players to hard, hence injuries.

VEL, you have no idea what you are talking about. The Giants really have been playing great. It is not a fluke. And the NFC is weak, so they should be able to make the playoffs easy. Their only competition for the wild card is Detroit, Green Bay, and St. Louis. All three of those teams are 4-4 right now.

What are you talking about? Look at the NFC.. How can the Giants not being going places the conference is not good at all. Has does Strahan getting an injury in the game have anything to do with Coughlin running his players too much. Odviously by Coughlin pushign his players look at the difference between this year and last year. And Warner and Barber are not playing abover their heads.. They are just playing very well.. WTF are you talking about?

Yawn, yeah ok whatever... so this years excuse will be strahan... what will next years be?

Barber is playing over his head, he's not as good as he's playing, and he will at some point break down and come back to earth.

But hey, I understand, the Giants fans don't have much to hold onto.

Should just rebuild, one thing Coughlin was good at was finding talent, get rid of some high priced guys and rebuild the team.

and no, it's not coughling "pushing a team" he was known in jacksonville for doing stupid things like full pads contact practice late in the season and that's how players get tired and get injured.

Who knows, maybe strahan was an early sign of that.

It's consistent. If you watch him it is insane. You think he's going to be tackled, then he just teleports or some shit and gains 7 yards.

There, now look at his career stats...

he's on pace to have his 2nd highest yds per rush avg, beat his total rush yards by 253yds, etc... etc... the biggest change is he hasn't put the ball on the ground.

Now, yes... sometimes when a player makes a drastic improvement mid-career it's continues, he's a late bloomer or whatever you want to call it. Personally, I see the fumbling coming back and coughling wont stand for that and Tiki will be on the bench or gone. might not be this year, this could be his "1 hit year" so to speak... and I'm not saying he's a horrible player, far from it... the fumbling has been what's always hurt his career.

again, time will tell.

He has been solid the last two years. He has been a solid player and this season he has been a great player. People are talking about him being an MVP candidate. Like I said before, it is obvious that he has done a lot to improve himself this season. I don't understand your point. You are saying he could suddenly suck next year? The same goes for every single player in the NFL.

He has only fumbled ONE time this entire season, and it wasn't even a full fumble. As he was being tackled, the ball came out and in less than half a second he fell right on top of it as he was coming down. His knee might have even been down already.

No, the last 2 years he's gotten the ball more then he had and was healthy, but he still had fumble problems last year.

I'm not disagreeing he's having a great year this year, but

1) Let's see if he finishes the season this stong.

2) Let's see if he holds onto the ball the rest of the season.

3) Let's see if he does it again next year.

There have been plenty of players to have a "break out year" only to return to old form the next year.

No, Dillon is one of the better rb's in the game, but he is by no means an elite back, like Priest Holmes or Ladanian Tomlinson.

neither, you just made a silly comment "players can't improve these days" they can improve, I just choose to think Tiki's is short lived, so we'll see next year.

Tiki has always been an outstanding RB. Last year his fumble problem was especially big, so I don't think he is on a breakout year. I just think last year was a down year in his career.

Tiki can do damn near anything, hell if we didn't have a capable QB I bet he could do that too. The guy is all world when he is on top of his game.

Wow, I guess in your book "outstanding" = "average"

Sorry, look at the stats... he's only been average until this current season, and even this year isn't on an "outstanding" pace.

As for "last year was a dowwn year because of fumbles?" Take a look at his stats.

97, 98, 99 he was a backup/part-time so we wont count those (98 he only had 52 carries and 99 only 62).

2000 - 213 carries, 1006 yds, 4.7avg and 5 fumbles
2001 - 166 carries, 865 yds, 5.2avg and 3 fumbles
2002 - 304 carries, 1387 yds, 4.6avg and 5 fumbles
2003 - 278 carries, 1216 yds, 4.4avg and 6 fumbles

I don't see how you can say 2003 his fumble problem was especially big, I guess in % maybe, since he had less carries then 2002 but 1 more fumble. I'd say his porblem was getting better, while even though he still had 5 and 6 fumbles in 2002/2003 they were his 2 highest carries season, so his fumble per carry avg was down.

Again, I'm not saying he's a bad RB.

But, Outstanding? Great?

These are terms for LT, Lewis, Holmes, Probably Portis if he does in Wash what he did in Denver.

Tiki is on pace for a career high in carries, yds, currently has his 2nd highest avg/carry and so far only 1 fumble, so even if you avg the season out, that's only 2 at years end. He's also on pace for over 60 rec, over 800rec yds (career high), and 18td's Career high.

So again, I won't argue he is on pace for a great season, but until this year he has only been average, and to say he's going to be a great RB going foreward is a guess, a guess based off of one year. I'm making the opposite guess, that next year he comes back to earth, 1000-1200yds on the ground 300-400yds rec, 4-6 TD's and maybe even a return of 4-5 fumbles depending on how often he gets the ball. My prediction likes yours and Trips is also a guess, I'm just going on his past history that and typically in the NFL when a player has problems holding onto the ball, it's a problem that follows them there whole career. I'm also factoring in the type of coach Coughlin is, who is known to over-work/practice his players and if Tiki does start to drop the ball again wont hesitate to put him on the bench.
