Yeah I guess. Culpepper put up huge stats but I think the Colts WERE the most explosive offense this season (Until they came to Foxboro) but shutting down an 8-8 team isn't exactly something to be bragging about.

I'll be going for the Falcons in the NFC Champ game, I like Vick, and seeing the Eagles lose again would be hilarious.

Ohhh I see where you are coming from, the Pats shut down the actual most explosive offense, thats true. The Pats did play awesome D, but the Colts game is already slowed down a bunch by that weather, I mean the game was like 6-3 into the third. Yeah you did just kick the ass of the most explosive team in the league, but the weather did help a little in the "shutting down" part. Do you agree?

In a dome I think the Colts would have won, but in normal outdoor weather I think the Patriots still would have won but not as decisively as they did. Regardless though, after that performance they look poised to take another Super Bowl, and I am cheering for them.

Wouldn't they have called Illegal Substitution or breaking the huddle with 12 men then (assuming they did go from huddle, im not real sure I've seen teams do a FG from a huddle at times and at times Ive seen them not)? I didn't see that part, I just saw the replay right afterwards and heard the announcers.

Do you remember the fake FG play this year that the Pats did where Vinitieri passed to somebody? It was essentially the same play, but there was another guy on the field so Moss had to get off and nobody got the kicker the message.

I don't think they huddle before a FG really, they just send the team on and go.

Yeah like I said, I wasn't sure if they did it from a huddle or not. SOme teams do, some don't.

If there were 12 men on the field then no, it wasn't Randy's fault.

I thought Minny would be able to take them without TO, but damn. I think Philly will fall for the 4th straight NFC champ. game.
