the jays traded Mark Hendrickson for Justin Spier. Another great move by the jays. I hated Hendrickson, and Sprier could be a closer. I'm very impressed with my Jays. And I'm not easily impressed...........WOW! A BLUE CAR!

It looks like the a-rod thing is going down right now
I heard it on ESPNews, they said a 3 way deal that would send A-rod to Boston, Manny to Texas, and Nomar to the Dodgers might be completed within 24 or 72 hours. |

yeah but they're all together right now and it's coming so close that the rangers have todd walker on speed dial ready to sign so they can move Michael Young to SS and walker will play 2nd when A-rod leaves.
or so Peter Gammons says, but he's pretty good/accurate. |

As for the O's, if they have the hitting and the arms they have, they could give the sox/yanks a run... don't see them in 1st, but a wild card wouldn't shock me, this assumes they get Vlad and Pudge.
As for A-rod, the current "Rumor" is The sox send Williamson for a player (sorry, I forgot who/where) and then send that player and Many to the Rangers, rather then picking up part of Many's contract. They would then deal Nomar to the Dodgers. I haven't heard of a "3-way" involving Texas, Boston & LA, the LA and Texas deals are seperate. But whatever, just get it done. |

yeah, Gammons is reporting it's a 3way, sox, dodgers, rangers...
Really wondering who makes it a 3way... I always give Gammon a lot of credit, but he's the same guy who swore all over the world a month ago Manny for A-rod will never happen and there were never any talks. |

Batista, Halladay, Hentgen, Towers, and Lilly are what they'll have, with Chen and J. Miller as other starters. However, apparently they may sign (or trade for????) Rich Aurillia, which would strengthen the SS position greatly. |

Omar Vizquel to the Mariners for Cirillo.
If Vizquel can stay healthy on his new knee I think he will be a good addition to the Mariners. With Omar and Boone up the middle that could be good, but if he gets injured that'd suck for Seattle. |

Ok, here's the latest Sox rumors.
A-rod for Many, there is talk there could be a pitcher added, because Texas is looking for value if the Sox aren't going to take part of Manny's contract. Then, Nomar to Chicago White Sox for Ordonez. There is talk Chicago would deal Nomar to the Dodgers for something, there is also talk Scott Williams and/or BH Kim would be delt to free some sox payroll. So, the Sox get Ordonez and A-rod for Manny and Nomar and they spend the same money or less..... Sign me up for season tickets! |

LMAO, the MLBPA has rejected the contact that A-rod and the Red Sox agreed on.
They feel it lessons the value of the contract, because even though it's the same money, it's over more years and the MLBPA is saying that the same amount isn't worth the same over longer years. Going to be interesting... not sure if the MLBPA can force a player not to take a move they want. |

I give up on baseball, it has degraded into an arms race between Boston and New York which is pure shit.

Yankees finally aquired Sheffield. So now they have Lofton, Williams, Sheffield, Matsui as an outfield. Sounds good to me.

Redman is overrated. But then again as the #4 pitcher he is probably one of the best in the league.

Yeah, I don't know how that happened. The A's played like it was the first three games of the season in that series. And then the Yankees did the same thing getting the sh** kicked out of them by the Angles. Sometimes things just don't work out I guess.
The A's could of beaten the Red Sox in the series this year if not for that jackoff Byrnes never touching homeplate and then Tejada stopping between home and third to argue a call. WTF WAS THAT.. |

pretty sure it's for a player to be named later... I thought Redman has never wanted to play for florida anyways since when he was with montreal cause he hates the owner or something.
