Well not so much a babyface as a ruthless badass that is now addressed as being cheered by the crowd. The way they booked him in that match (getting put through the announce table, ganged up by SmackDown! wrestlers, etc.) makes him look like a comeback artist.

It just occured to me, that Angle & Daivari could look really strong if the hold the WWE Tag Team Championship and WWE Cruiserweight Championship as well. I don't know who won the Best of Seven Series, but if it was Chris Benoit, you can get Benoit trying to be the only Champion left on SmackDown! fighting Angle & Daivari. Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit at the Royal Rumble for the World Heavyweight Championship AND the WWE United States Championship? Who can say "Two-Fall Match"?

Do you think they will reveal a trade? Maybe we just don't know the other participant yet? It would make more sense to keep SmackDown! strong, but I can see RAW maybe getting a tag team out of this. Looking at the current teams, I think The Dicks make the best choice to go to RAW to have their long-awaited feud with The Heart Throbs. It could be...OK.

Love Alienoid's idea! Was thinking along the same lines myself but have HBK switch sooner & have Vince 'follow' him to continue their fued! That way SD! gets 2 top level talents & some much needed McMahon related exposure! SD's looking better already!

Like Allienoid said, I think he played a face tonite since it was said that he was put through a table, made a comeback, and eliminated Henry in the finals. And then, as KoOS said, Orton will face Angle at Mania. I think that is the route to go since Mania is usually the stage of first time ever matches, and I think Orton/Angle would make a great title match. The only confrontation between the two I believe was at Rumble 04 when Orton gave him an RKO.
