Did that actually happen during Raw and Vince rose from the commentators table and went to the back?

I seem to remember a tag match being set with Bret and someone against Shawn and someone, and it never happened.

I know exactly what you're talking about, but I don't think that was the one. I would have to go back and look at the tape, but I think that was for storyline purposes. Pretty sure that was the episode where HBK got laid out in the back by the Harts.

after hbk wiped his tears away he went to vince asking for his release. Both bret and shawn were sent home without appearing on raw that night.

I think it was before raw had gone on air.

Anyways that night in Hartford Bret did go after Shawn, they were sent home, Shawn said he had had enough of this and wanted out..he was unhappy, and felt lonely without his buds over in the wcw. That night Shawn even said he was to have a match with Brian Pillman but because of what went down that didnt happen.

Anyways, Shawn whined about that for a while. He basically took the summer off, and was scheduled to wrestle at Canadian Stampede but he opted(pussed) out.
