I'd love it if tomorrow night on Raw, The Shield reveals a tape of themselves (since they love videotaping themselves) watching the match from backstage, witnessing the blackout and the attack on The Rock and just shrugging.

What if its revealed on RAW tomorrow night that it, in fact, was NOT The Shield and CM Punk shouldn't have been stripped of the belt? What happens then? For all we know, it could've been King Kong Bundy who attacked The Rock.

You know, I'm still thinking of Bret Hart's talk with Del Rio and Ricardo backstage.

Was it just something WWE did just for the heck of it? Or was it some kind of a message they sent, kinda like Bret giving a face ADR "the rub" and sending him on his way to a pretty lengthy run (until WM at the very least) as Champion?

Kinda like "Hey, fans, I approve of this guy. He's the goods". IDK.

I'll try and keep to the good parts here. Y2J and the reaction to him was amazing. Hope he's back for a little while. Team Hell No friction in Rumble. The Cody-Golddust stuff was cool too. Gives Cody heat no one else could give him.

I tried. Sigh. Think about this in context of real world stuff. Guy gets hired years ago. Leaves and goes to a different business. Comes back and gets put straight to CEO position (WWE Champion)

I think a lot of the backlash this is getting is because we all know where it all leads already. Cena-Rock with Cena going over. That in my opinion will not sale. Too predictable. I will give them time to figure something out but I have an idea that it won't and that's what we are getting at Mania. Again.

You want to talk business, what about the fact that, more than likely, the huge draw (and yes Rock is a huge draw) will be leaving after Mania. Then we have the issue of the rest of the year being overrun by matches and people who DON'T draw.

WWE should be worrying about making guys actually matter instead of relying on the past for a temporary bump. Because once the Rocks, Takers, Triple Hs, and Lesnars are no longer there, the temporary boost will be non-existent and they will fall down the shitter.

If there is no future outside of Cena, which is pretty clear what WWE's stance is after Punk's reign was overshadowed by the likes of fucking Lauinitis vs Cena, then five years down the line there's a problem.

I just don't think we needed Cena winning the Rumble and Rock winning the ME to set up the rematch. I don't think this match needs the WWE title, either.

Hell, Ryback could have won the Rumble (and if you heard the chant, you could have easily justified it), Cena could have come out and admitted to attacking Rock.

Personally Rock winning would have been great.... if Cena didn't win Rumble.

Also wanted to add being a traditionalist hated seeing Rumble match in middle of card. I realized why it was done but I hated it the year they had Angle/Henry end it one year too.

C&P'ed from the other thread but whatever.

I was pissed off about Rock/Cena initially...not because they're bad performers or anything. Far from it. But I thought Rock/Cena last year was a disappointment, I'm not a fan of the same exact match closing out consecutive WrestleManias, and it's blatantly obvious Cena will be getting his win back.

But...the crowd will be shit hot for the match and will probably be a fun environment. I'll get to see an Undertaker streak match live, possibly against CM Punk. Jericho might now be in the fold. Team Hell No will do something fun. Cody/Goldust or some variant of that might happen. Orton could be a heel by then and way more interesting as a result. HHH/Lesnar, if it happens, has a chance at being much better if they actually get a chance to wrestle and not try to make it a shoot. And most importantly, I've got the luxury of going to WM without having to spend an exorbitant amount on travel, since I can drive there.

Just gonna sit back and enjoy the build up.
