Had pretty much my best two games ever today. Thank you Galil.

Also had one of my funniest/dickest moments. Playing demolition. Partner calls in a couple of care packages near our respawn point. Some spawn trap douchebag shoots him and he goes into last stand. I take him out quickly and see my partner slugging around trying to get me to revive him. I do......but not before I steal all of his care packages.

M60 with Extended Mags is f'n amazing. 200 shots without reloading and 2-3 to kill someone.

When we play hardcore, I have a tendency to tomahawk my teammates who are trying to be revived.

I went to shoot some random guy planting a turret, and his name said "swift splaya"

It was fun to play some games, but the lagging was out of control in a few of them. Especially when opponents were running at me. What's up with that?

Treyarch has announced that it's planning to release the first downloadable map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops sometime in February for Xbox 360.

Treyarch's Dan Bunting appeared on Major Nelson's podcast yesterday to discuss the upcoming DLC, entitled "First Strike." It will be comprised of four competitive maps: "Discovery," set in the single-player's abandoned Antarctic research facility; "Stadium," a hockey rink; "Kowloon," which takes place on the rooftops of Hong Kong; and "Berlin Wall," set at Checkpoint Charlie. In addition, a new map named "Ascension" for the game's Zombies mode will also be included.

"On this map pack, we focused a lot more on providing variety of weaponry, variety of engagement, ... [and] a lot more verticality, bringing some sniper opportunities to it," Bunting said on the podcast (via Gamasutra).

The two map packs for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, despite an increased price of $15 over the previous standard of $10, still managed to sell incredibly well -- the first of the two, the Stimulus Package, sold 2.5 million copies. Knowing that it can be successful at that price, Activision has set the price for the First Strike DLC at the $15 mark. And as was announced at E3, the map pack, like all Call of Duty map packs to be released over the next few years, will release first on Xbox 360, with PC and PS3 versions following later on.

We did, and we won...all the while he kept yelling "OMG IM CARRYING THIS TEAM YOU GUYS BLOW!" But to him K/D was all that mattered. Anybody who thinks that needs to stick to TDM and never come back.

Yeah that's usually how it goes. I've been playing with some peeps now, to where if we play a short map like nuketown we will stretch the demolition game to 3 games so we can all maximize K/d ratio. One game we went 74-22 72-20 65-30 and 48-6 for like a combined 259-78. But we won the last game easily. If we play somewhere like Jungle, we just get in, plant, defend and win 2-0.

I stopped playing with my brother in law because they just wanted to pad stats after taking a lead. Its a dick way to play, and kills come easy when the other team is going to designated spots on the map over and over.

Yeah I played one Demolition game at Hanoi where the enemy team were all spawn trapping and used shotguns and sniper rifles for one-hit kills. It was such bullshit, legitimately undefendable. My average lifespan was like 5 seconds. Got killed like 60 times and their entire team had like 60+ kills each.

The ONLY reason I even stayed that long was because they made no effort to capture the objectives on offense, leading to an easy round win. But we couldn't score on offense. So in overtime they fucking kept us on offense again, so we then quit out. Waste of time.
