Just a little under 2 hours until TBoGT is up on the Marketplace. Anyone who preorderd Liberty City Stories got the game early, so lucky them.
In the instruction book that came with LCS, there was an "ad" for something which everyone thinks is hinting at the location of GTA V and states that "It's over" with Liberty City.



The image seems to be pine trees, a road (though some think it's a pond) and rocks/mountains.
As usual, something like this has been rotated, inverted, mirrored and manipulated dozens of times by people online trying to figure it out.
If you mirror it, it looks like a bat which is just a coincidence. It's a tear in the page so maybe what we see is nothing to do with where GTA V will be. Maybe it's supposed to be there but it's like it was "torn" away from the ad.
Notice it says at the bottom "Opens March everywhere" which has people thinking this mean R* will announce it in March.
Then again, it could be a wild goose chase and have nothing to do with GTA V.

I've seen that. Hopefully it will be news of a GTA V title...I'd like to see one set in either Chicago or Detroit for GTA V.

I was thinking the same. I eventually found it by going to Add-ons, Browse, G, GTA IV, View All Downloads.
It wasn't up on the "New Downloads" list until a few hours after.

I've only played 2 or 3 missions it's alright not as awesome as hype made it seem BUT I know it'll pick up after a few more missions when I meet more characters and the story picks up speed etc.
Tried Free Mode out, can't find the APC anywhere even though I flew all over the city in the Buzzard. The buzzard is quick and the rockets are fired with X and are unlimited and can fire continously, same with the gun turrets which are used with the A button.

Some people online are hogging the Buzzards and constantly blowing up everyone that gets near another Buzzard or the Buzzard its self.
I was being stalked by at least one Buzzard most of the time I was in Free Mode but they never managed to hit me. I managed to snipe the pilot in the face once, which felt good after the hassel he was causing in the area.

I realised why I never saw the APC as I flew around the city. It's in a garage.
If you want the APC, it's in a garage at the LCPD station on the upper right corner of the middle island. It's south of the furtherst north bridge to a bridge.

While in Free Mode I came across a vehicle I didn't know was included in the DLC. I found a police motorbike. Never seen it in single player though.

I think TBoGT is a mash up of Vice City and San Andreas. It's got the Over the Top missions of San Andreas but with the rainbow colours, clubs, partying, music and that vehicle I mentioned above, it's like Vice City. Pause the game and wait a few seconds. Music starts playing. That music plus the look of the pause screen, when the map isn't on screen, really makes it feel like it's VC.

The image saying "it's over" also appears in-game if you look at the billboards in star junction. I don't think we'll see a new Vice City or San Andreas. I think, if they revisit an old area, it will be one town from SA. Maybe Los Santos or Los Venturas and just make it a full blown city rather than a tiny area of a whole state.

Would make sense since they already used Liberty City a bunch of times, London was only used in the original GTA as a set of expansion packs, and Vice City had a "Stories" version on the PSP along with the main game.

San Andreas is the only one to not have a 2nd game so far.

You can use LB and RB to turn without banking to the side. I just did fly overs, holding down X to launch missiles constantly, turned around and flew over again doing the same. As long as you aren't too high up, it should be an easy target. 3 or 4 fly overs and the yacht is down.
The missiles fire at whatever angle the 'copters nose is pointing so if you fly over the Yacht with the nose diagonally downwards, the missiles go that way.

I'm probably telling you thing you already know.

That took me a while. I kept firuing the gun turrets. I kept getting too high or too far ahead of them and had to keep turning around. I did it by flying just up above and behind them and pointing the helicopter nose down at them and firing.

Anyone that's trying to get good rating for missions, you have to drive everywhere. If you get a Taxi, it wont rank it and you can't redo it until you have finished the game.

Yeah, the cheat would work in single player because the APC isn't in the garage but you can't input cellphone cheats in Free Mode, which is when the APC is in the garage.

This cagefighting shit is so stupid. In Rd. 3 through the final you have to actually try and KO guys with titanium bats or knives. And trying to disarm those guys is a motherfucker, too, because with each round the fighters not only get faster and tougher but they can even counter you much easier with every passing round.

I could be at it forever trying to win the Cage Fighting mini-game. *SIGH*

So I finished the storyline for Gay Tony and it was a good end to the GTA IV "saga". I enjoyed it.

Your spoiler tags didn't work. You only mentioned a mission that's been covered in every single preview of the game so it's not that big a deal, I guess.

Anyway, the people over at gtaforums.com are still looking into that "It's over" poster. I thought I'd update the thread with what they have come up with.
Basically, they are debating if it's going to be Italy, London or Vice City.

There is a poster in the sex shop in GTA IV which, when reversed, fits into the rip in the "its over" poster and advertises an erectile dysfuction pill called Vesuvius Citrate. Abbreviated it's VC, just like Vice City. Someone also pointed out Vesuvius is a word which progressed into the word vice.

Vesuvius -> Visceral -> Vicious -> Vice

And that Citrate is what we find in oranges. oranges are linked to Florida, where Vice City is.

Someone else says it's Italy because Mount Vesuvius is in Italy and is near a city known for it's criminal underworld.

Others say it's London because of in-game dialouge.

Some think it's a clue, leading to the whole Italy/Vice city debate but a few people think it's meaningless. It's supposed to be the poster underneath the "It's over" poster and we see it because the "Its over" poster has torn. If it's meaningless, why was it reversed?

Anyone think they are onto something or agree that it's meaningless?

That was in 2008 though so maybe that's all changed. I'm hoping for a GTA in the UK. It can be San Andreas style. One huge map with cities in the south for England, cities in the north for Scotland, cities in the west for Wales and cities on an island off the west coast for Ireland. If it is the UK, it'll be London but I can't see them leaving the US, to be honest.

Yeah that mission kind of burned me out. I don't play too many video games, but spending over 2 hours on that mission really killed my momentum.

I doubt they go outside a London if it goes away from U.S. since the London games were only meant as expansion packs and not actual GTA timeline games. Would make more sense to go back to San Andreas area or a new area like Hawaii (if volcanoes are to be used).

Really though, I can see them doing one city from San Andreas. In the Ps2 San Andreas it was just a huge state with little tiny towns. If they focus on just one city and make it as big or bigger than LC was in GTA IV, great. I think Los Venturas may have the edge in that case.

Good news for anyone trying to 100% a mission. When you replay it, you don't have to meet all the requirements in one shot. I did a mission and got 100% because I met 2 out of the 3 requirements in my first go and got the third one on my repeat of it. Never got all 3 at once and still got 100%.

I personally could do without San Fierro if they went the route of a San Andreas Stories game or something similar. If they didn't put in a shitload of odd jobs, side quests, and collectibles the next time, I think they could get away with putting together an excellent game focusing on just Los Santos and surrounding vicinities and Las Venturas and the plane graveyard area of the desert.
