Just to explain what I meant a little better, is that I hated failing missions that start in Hove Beach and then require a drive to Alderney to continue it.

Otherwise, I very much enjoyed it.

I've read that GTA IV is still pretty active online. I've not been on it in years, though.

The PC version should still be active while the console versions (or at least the Xbox 360) still has a decent amount of people on Free Roam at any given time.

Not sure about the specific modes like races or team deathmatches if they still get enough to fill a server or match.

Pretty sure Free Roam is the place to be. The recent GTAV trailer should add some literal traffic as well.

Usually the only people I see online are in Races or Deathmatches. Which sucks for achievement whores like myself who didn't have the game at the time everyone was pouring their money into it
