I kind of like Mir's chances in this fight to be honest. Should be interesting.

I think Mir as UFC Heavyweight Champion looks pretty weak since Lesnar blasted him and then Carwin mauled him. Mir has knocked off Kongo, Big Nog, CroCop and Big Country but those guys are a ways outside of the title picture.
I really do not like Mir's chances against the punching power of JDS, so he'd have to get him down for the SUB. Then Mir would need a miracle to get through Cain. I am kind of rooting for Mir simply because if he could hold onto the belt til Lesnar's WWE contract runs out, I do not see how Lesnar would not agree to return to the UFC for that fight. |
