Barring one decade, wrestling has for the most part always been a family friendly product. Saying wwe is disgusting for selling wrestling to children, is like saying hasbro is disgusting for selling toys to children.

You know i set there and wonder if you are a true wrestling fan in the first place. Dwayne Johnson is the last of a dying breed in this industry. For one he has transformed what Hulk Hogan tried to do back in the early to mid nineties, and that's move into the entertainment industry past professional wrestling AND SUCCEEDED. This industry has been nothing but a business. It's no more than you turning on your television or going out to the movies to watch your favorite tv show or movie. It's no more than tuning in to watching your favorite sports team. It's no more than grabbing your lil pokey mon cards or whatever the hell you find or you do in your life that entertains you!!!

Now I'm sick of these "attitude" and post attitude wrasslin watching morons who do not know the importance or the history....the territories, the mid souths, the Stampedes, the Von Erichs, the Bill Watts Promotions. The classic matches, THE FAMILIES, the wrestlers you never knew existed if it weren't for YouTube and Wikipedia.

Dwayne The Rock Johnson's blood is pumping in the entertainment you watch on a weekly basis, his father and tony atlas were african american pioneers of this industry. His grandfather as well, there wouldnt be a long line of great Samoan wrestlers like Yokozuna, Umaga, The Wild Somoans, Fatu and on and on without High Chief Miavia. If you say you're a wrestling fan, then your butt would've probably been ENTERTAINED one time or another by these fabulous wrestlers.

And for what The Rock has done for this industry...forget bringing a SPOTLIGHT back in the WWE the past two Wrestlemania's, forget spiking up television ratings EVERY DAMN TIME HE'S ON TV, forget trending on Twitter, forget bringing endorsements like the "Fruity Pebbles" to fellow WWE superstars, you forget all that!!!....and HE STILL GOES OUT AND LOVES WHAT HE'S DOING WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT WHEN HES IN FRONT OF A WWE AUDIENCE, and that's ENTERTAINING the WWE nation and beyond.

Now again, if you tell me he does not deserve to be out there and get the respect and shots he deserves after listening to all that...then you can honestly go back to that low ratings garbage i refused to watch for the past 3 years without The Rock. It's writers who make the show, its charisma in the superstars that make the show, its the personalities big and small that make the show, and MOST IMPORTANTLY its the fans that make the show...This ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY is not the NFL/NBA/MLB where you have to win to get to the top for a championship, you win by simply winning over the fans in professional wrestling, lets keep it that way and stop bitching about who's winning and not winning. Be Entertained!

You know I've disagreed with a lot of the posters on this forum in the past and have even gone on record to say that I can't stand Rock coming back and being given the shots he is, but this is just ridiculous! I mean I don't think Rock deserves to be champ right now, and honestly I haven't been entertained much at all with his current persona or run, but it's clear the guy is making TONS of money for WWE right now, and to say Punk made more is fucking idiocy at it's finest. I love Punk and he definitely helped ratings, but he's done nowhere near what Rock has in terms of numbers.

As for wrestling being targeted at adults and not kids let me present a few pieces of information. Exhibit A) Hulkamania. Exhibit B) The MASSIVE line of action figures and other "toys" WWE/F has put out over the years. Exhibit C) Just about every fucking personality and gimmick ever done in the history of professional wrestling!

Now I can understand having an opinion and all that, I mean mine is often far removed from the others on this forum, but god damnit this guy is clearly either a troll or just plain fucking retarded. Why in god's green earth is he allowed to blatantly act like a total jackass that even our resident asshole Gertner would probably be sickened by and not get hit with the ban hammer?!
