VEL, you have no idea what you are talking about. Barber hasn't been outstanding this season? Are you retarded? He is on pace to shatter the record for lines from scrimmage in a season. He is #4 in the league in rushing coming into this week and may even go up to #1 after this week.

the jets talk to much trash... haven't really beaten anybody... the pats would beat them, just like the steelers. well they lost to the steelers but still the pats are obviously better... i mean our 3rd string long snapper was injured... only way the steelers beat us

and please, learn how to read... if Tiki goes back to putting the ball on the ground, coughlin won't hesitate to bench him. That's the type of coach he is, if Tiki starts droping the ball every other game and especially in key situations like he did last year, he'll get benched. Don't forget, coughlins the same task master who wouldn't let coaches in Jacksonville wear sun glasses on the sidelines cause he felt it was a sign of weakness.

WHat are you a fuckking idiot. Coughlin shows a lot of faith in his players, he is the kind of coach who takes players and makes them play stroing as a unit, not the type who benches people. For christ sakes he should have benched Warner a game ago. Warner had 4 turnover's alone. He said he considered benching him but stuck with him.

He won't be that hasty, especially if Barber all of a sudden catches a case of fumbilitis, because behind him, there is no one to play.

Barber is an outstanding RB who had a down season last year with the fumbles. He has improved upon this, probably largely in part due to Coughlin being around.

Now if only Kurt could get his head out of his ass long enough to play the whole game.

2003: Didn't play
2002: NE 30-14

Looks like they both won one. By my math that makes them tied. You make it sounded like the Pats beat them 10 times before the Steelers won by saying "3 years". They played 2 games in 3 years. 3 including the 2002 playoffs, but you said regular season.

I would say Tiki is for real this year. Have any of you read about his off season conditioning plan? The guy got JACKED UP. Went from like 195 incline to 400. Said he's gotten bigger but has increased his speed as well.

DOnt remember where I read it but it was a pretty good read. Seems like it was in an ESPN Mag.

Anyway yeah, dont see how you can argue against the guy right now. Hes a STUD

As for Tiki, talk to me next season, 1/2 a year doesn't mean crap. Yes, he's having a great season, yes he should make the pro-bowl if he stays on pace, but calling him an outstanding RB is different then saying he's having an outstanding year. Yes, he's having a great or even "outstanding" year, but he's not an outstanding RB, he's gotta do this for a couple of years to get that title.

As for Couglin, I didn't say 1 bad game... but ya wanna bet if Warner has 2-3 or 3-4 bad games he won't get benched for Eli? You guys have no clue what you're talking about w/ Coughlin. He's not a touchy feely coach like Vermil, he's a task master and if Tiki has a few bad games and puts the ball on the ground you'll see Cloud get the ball more. Don't forget Cloud is a BC kid and Coughlin was once a BC coach, you think it's a coincidence he signed him? (no they were not there at the same time).

As for coughlin working player to hard, example Fred Taylor, notice he's been injured less since coughlin left?

you're both tools. Babyhugger it's simple, Coughlin is a discipline guy, if Tiki was to go back to his fumbling past especially like last year, where it always seemed to happen in key situations he'd eventually get benched. Coughlin would not stand around and watch Tiki put the ball on the ground and/or turnover the ball in key situations.

I've never said Tiki was a bad RB, he's always been average or good, this year he's playing great, but it takes doing it more then 9 games to be a great RB.

I also stated the Ginats aren't as good as you Giant fans seem to think they are, and well, look at their record and the games they've lost. Might they still make the playoffs? Sure, half the league is 4-5 or better so everyone has a shot, but they're not some great/dominant team.

Trips - Have I watched every giants game no, but you don't have to, to know coughlins coaching history or to see barbers history. Yeah, you may know the depth chart and who the names of their special teams players, but that doesn't count for much. I'm not claming to be a football expert but you don't need to be Boomer Esiason to see the obvious. You don't need to he a football historian to know that 8-9 great games doesn't make someone a great back... go through the nfl records trips, look at the 1 or 2 year wonders, heck, just look at the Rookies of the year... John Stephens, Lenord Ruseel, both rookie of the years I think, both had great rookie years and decent 2nd years and quickly faded... plenty of players have had great years... and as I've said, you could be right, Tiki might break all the records this year and do it again next year and the year after and then I'll tip my cap to you, but till then he has to prove himself for more then 1 season.

Anyway Trips. I know yesterday must be tough when you have two teams to root for and neither one pulls off a win.

So, which are you more, if you could only root for 1 team... a Jets fan or Giants fan.

Personally, I like the Giants more, but I think the Jets have a better team.

As I said, if the Steelers didn't have Bettis and Duce and lost by a close score, I'd have said the same thing about the Pats win, that it was a good win, but it the Pats probably would have lost if the Steelers had a running game.

Not to mention the other key injuries, Ty Law - AlPro Corner etc... etc... but the Running game was the most important.

Belichek gets a free pass, 2 superbowl wins in 3 years, but he should have kept Cloud, he should have kept a backup for Dillon... Faulk is a good 3rd down back, but not an every down back.

You are a giant idiot and keep saying the same thing over nad over. Coughlin is NOT known to bench people. It took him a ton of time to make the obvious choice of starting Eli Manning. Also Giants have no backup at all. Coughlin is the kind of guy who makes sure a back doesnt fumble not the kind of guy who benches a guy for fumbling. Tiki will not have a fumbling problem anymore. It is that simple. I guarantee it. Giants aren't great this year, you are right, but Tiki is a great athlete, and he will not have a fumbling problem so it makes him a great back.

There you go again. LOL Warner has not "lit it up" at all. He has thrown like 5 TD passes all season, and like 4 INTs. And he has gotten sacked like 40 times. The bottom line is the Giants offense hasn't been playing well the past couple of weeks with him. He has not been playing bad, but he has not been playing good at all. If the Giants won against Arizona I would say keep Warner in, but they lost. Their offense was awful. They have no passing game. It was time to give Manning a chance. He won't be any worse than Warner, so he can only be better.

And I thought I told you to shut the fuck up already about Barber. Enough out of you.

So, your saying I have to go through the old posts later where everyone told me how good Warner was doing and he wasn't playing above his head and coughlin wouldn't bench him.

As for Tiki, and any other giant subject, I'd love to stop posting about it, when idiots like The Wiz and Babyboy stop twisting and changing what I say so I don't have to re-state and clarify once again, then I can replying to posts directed at me.
