The last pages have mentioned great matches that most of them ran to formula. I will admit that personality was paramount back then, but are you saying that Takers, HBK's or Hogans put in any less?

Without good personalities to fight against they would be forgotten. The only difference in my eyes is Taker & HBK have fought in more different match types than hogan, Hogan has fought the more hated opponants.

But hogan mainly because for a long time (and maybe still) he was mania.
You could have never seen a wrestling match in your life but you'd still know who hogan was.

That's why people gave a fuck about Hogan's matches. That's why Hogan main evented so often.
