I'm glad Angle won, and I don't want to be a party-pooper, but how come I'm so afraid that this could all be some swerve? I mean what if McMahon or Long come out and say Angle's not on the Smackdown roster so he can't be the Smackdown Champion and they take the belt away from him? I know it doesn't seem likely, but maybe the reason they put this spoiler on wwe.com is because Angle winning the title is part of some storyline. I hope not.

I would have marked out like crazy to see Angle win w/o knowing it.

On the other hand, they put it on their site, spoiling their own show. WOW.

And I guess if it was down to Angle and Henry, it's obvious who would have won... altho the smark side of me would have been like "please don't actually let Mark win" so that I'd go crazy when Angle did win.

Man... talk about a totally effed up couple of weeks. Fans turn on Cena. Edge wins title. Cena suddenly feuds with Edge instead of Angle or HHH. HHH feuds with Big Show instead. Angle goes to Smackdown?!?!?!

I'll be interested to see how this pans out again. After a shitfest of a RAW, SmackDOWN has re-affirmed my miniscule faith in the WWE.

Interesting. On wwe.com, on the smackdown roster page, they have Angle as champ. However, they don't have him on the full roster below, like the other champions. He is however, still on the Raw roster. hmmmmm

I'm not sure if I'd rather see Benoit win the Rumble and face Angle at WrestleMania, or Mysterio win the Rumble and face Angle at WrestleMania, Unfortunately, Triple H will win the Rumble and face Cena at WrestleMania.

But I am at least hoping for programs with Mysterio & Benoit in the near-future. I'm also predicting (unless Benoit faces Angle at WrestleMania) that Angle will hold the belt until Batista returns. Angle vs. Batista would be pretty damn good, plus it would be a great way to get the big gold belt back onto 'Tista. This could be a great year.

Outside of Orton Undertaker, and JBL, there's no real "fallback" guy. Orton needs to be built up a bit, and that leaves Undertaker and JBL. Benoit and Booker T could be up there, but it's about fan perception right now.

Raw on the other hand has an abundance of main event guys (Cena, Edge, HBK, HHH, Big Show, Flair, Angle, hell, even Kane.)

I suppose from a storyline point of view, Angle wanted to be champion, and he knew he'd never get a rematch with Cena, so he goes to SD where the WHC is up for grabs, and says it was easy for him because they are B rate talent.

Jericho was first to win the combined WCW and WWE titles (Undisputed champion in 2001)

What is now known as the WHC was brought in by Bischoff and given to Triple H when Lesnar signed exclusively to SD in 2002

On the other hand, they put it on their site, spoiling their own show. WOW. And I guess if it was down to Angle and Henry, it's obvious who would have won... altho the smark side of me would have been like "please don't actually let Mark win" so that I'd go crazy when Angle did win. Man... talk about a totally effed up couple of weeks. Fans turn on Cena. Edge wins title. Cena suddenly feuds with Edge instead of Angle or HHH. HHH feuds with Big Show instead. Angle goes to Smackdown?!?!?! I'll be interested to see how this pans out again. After a shitfest of a RAW, SmackDOWN has re-affirmed my miniscule faith in the WWE.

But I am at least hoping for programs with Mysterio & Benoit in the near-future. I'm also predicting (unless Benoit faces Angle at WrestleMania) that Angle will hold the belt until Batista returns. Angle vs. Batista would be pretty damn good, plus it would be a great way to get the big gold belt back onto 'Tista. This could be a great year.

Posts: 920	I suppose from a storyline point of view, Angle wanted to be champion, and he knew he'd never get a rematch with Cena, so he goes to SD where the WHC is up for grabs, and says it was easy for him because they are B rate talent. ------------------------------------------------------------------- So is Angle.... a) Taking the title to Raw and Teddy Long now makes the SD championship. b) Leaving Raw and joining the SD roster permanantly. c) Staying on both brands back like the champion in 2002.
