So I finished the Villiian portion of the RTWM storyline in one session and I must say I have never hated Cena more than I have before at the EC PPV. Mind you it wouldn't have been so bad if the objective had given the proper instructions telling me to defeat Daniel Bryan OUTSIDE of the ring yeesh! Must admit though I enjoyed playing through that part I hope the Outsider one is just as good if not better cuz me think the final act is gonna suck by comparison and will be full of cliches and be predictable but I could be wrong about that.

Just got this and have only played for maybe an hour or two all-in. I'm impressed with the graphics and the gameplay is good - it reminds me a bit of the old N64 THQ games.

I irish whipped someone into the ringside barricade and they went straight through the barricade and kept running through the crowd. Then they walked back to ringside area, straight through the barricade.

Only other glitch I've seen is some lagging during entrances/show openings while panning through the crowd.

Is this pin system new? I don't ever recall it in past games. I suck at it too. Is there a trick to it? I release when it says to but no luck...

Only prob I've had is with my CAW. When I'm a double champion I wind up without any entrance music. Even when I use a regular wrestler's music I come out to no music at all.

Only real glitches so far have been fighting in the EC during RTWM and Cena and I randomly ended up fighting outside the chamber for a bit.

Also during Universe, I had a match as Taker vs Christian and randomly Big Zeke was in the ring but did absolutely nothing. Just stood there. I could hit him but he did nothing. Then the cutscene after was Kane and Zeke beating me down.

Had a brief floating issue as well during a TLC with Punk v Rey, but so far that's all I've encountered.

Enjoying it for the most part.

The Villain storyline is great so far (and is virtually what I did with my Universe on last years game) however I'm not a fan of the on-the-rails aspect of RTWM. Beat this guy up, them press a button to enter a cut scene. Seems every match ends that way and you never get to actually win the match.

Superstar Threads is in, under edit superstar.

I loved the villain storyline, the outsider one seems like it is taking forever. I don't mind the action button to end matches. It gives you a more entertaining finish. It's better than losing matches on purpose or having no option but to lose the match.

I finished all 3 Road to WrestleManias in less than a week, and I pray they cut down on all the fucking 3-on-1 and 4-on-1 backstage brawls. Fucking hell...

So, my Universe mode has gone terribly wrong.

Cara is injured. Miz is injured. Rhodes and Barrett are injured. Lesnar more or less killed Bourne and I don't expect to ever see him come back, but to make it all even worse, Morrison just won the WWE Title off CM Punk at Royal Rumble.

Heads up for Universe: not that it's a common occurence, but if you book a 6 man ladder match at any point, it'll automatically turn the winner into Mr. Money in the Bank.

Only discovered it because I'm on MITB now and I turned all of the participants to be SmackDown guys and simmed. R-Truth won MITB, outlasting Miz, DiBiase, Goldust, Rhodes, and Mason Ryan. R-Truth was then listed as Mr. Money in the Bank.

I decided to book a Raw MITB as well, figuring I'd give the winner a title match at some point even though there is technically only one Mr. MITB in the game. Christian won over McIntyre, Morrison, Kofi, Bourne, and Zack Ryder. However, CHRISTIAN is now listed as Mr. Money in the Bank instead of R-Truth. Not a big deal, as it has the same effect and it just means Truth will have a regular match whereas Christian can use the cheap cash in animation. Just figured I'd throw it out there for anybody planning on doing two MITBs like I did.

Are you sure it's any 6 man ladder match or only 6 man ladder matches at MITB?

I don't know for sure and don't want to risk it since I have auto-save on, but I'd say it's safe to assume that it's any ladder match. Kinda like last year when I'd do 10/20 man battle royals at random events instead of battle royals, and the winner would have a News message saying SO AND SO HAS WON THE ROYAL RUMBLE AND IS GOING TO WRESTLEMANIA.

During the HIAC match in RTWM pretty much every time i whipped someone towards the cage they'd go through it and the crowd and just keep running,had to restart it 4 or 5 times. Only major glitch i've had so far.

I was finally able to sit and play the game after Gamefly sent it to me on Monday yet it didnt arrive in my mail till Saturday.

Does the game seem a little laggy to anyone else? It feels like when I hit the button to punch it takes a second before my person does it.

Only other small problem i have is my guy never hits a ground attack because it just doesnt connect or it pushes him out of the way.

Been having an easier time in CC. Takes a couple tries to initially get to the search screen, but once I've gotten there, I've been able to download 5-10 items before it kicks me off again. At least it's improving.

Done a few weeks of Universe today, enjoying it much more than last year, despite the bugs.

One random occurance today was winning a match and then the "this match is restarting as a submission match" cutscene, so I won the match again, and then I get the "submission match" restart cutscene again! I hit the button to take me to this repeat match and it dumps me back in the main menu with my win counted from the first match.

Also in my custom entrance movie, Christian has a skeletor face.

Edit - Oh yeah, almost forgot about playing a match as Jack Swagger, halfway through a cutscene starts where I get disqualified, but then the match carries on only I have a broken arm that is swinging wildly about, lol.

I've had to restart several matches, but the bugs so far have been more funny than gamebreaking.

I think my game might be bugged. Ever since Morrison won the WWE Title off Punk at RR, I can't get him to drop the title. He wins every damned title defense I book him in. I book him in a title match every RAW and Superstars, and of course the PPV's. Just now he beat Lesnar, Big Show, and HHH in a fatal four way at NoC. I used the Raw MitB winner (Ziggler) and the SD MitB winner (Dibiase) on him and he STILL kept the title.

I'm really starting to wonder if somehow the game made Morrison the new Cena or something.

That's scary, you may have to play it yourself to make him lose. One bug I'm having is that Universe is booking the same matchs one Raw and Smackdown every week, though I'm only at the RR now.

Can't have the phrase "The carpets don't match the drapes" in a created story, it seems.

Not sure what's wrong with the phrase "Looks like he came up short against Yoshi Tatsu"

I found out my story wouldn't work because I had downloaded superstars in it. I've replaced them with my own created (sucky) Hardy Boyz. All my created superstars are in the story, just lost during corruption.

If you want to find it though, it's got the keywords TPWW, Chavo and Jobbing on 360. Give it half hour while it uploads though.

I haven't bought the game yet but with all the problems listed, would it be better to just wait for a patch to be released or wait till the game goes to the discount bin?

I was going to get it during Black Friday but ended up missing out on grabbing a copy.

Overall, I'm having fun, but there are a lot of truly excellent games out right now. I'd get one of them, and wait for the patch.

Honestly, I haven't encountered many glitches. As long as they fix the CC server issues, and fix the problem with editing matches in Universe, I will officially love this game.

Just rip some themes from old WWF/WWE/WCW CD's if you have any, to your HD (assuming you're playing on 360?), then create a "playlist" for each theme separately. So fucking pissed that I don't have a copy of the ThemeAddict CD from '04 or '05...I so badly want to revert Christian's music to the original "Just Close Your Eyes" by Waterproof Blonde. Story of the Year can suck my left nut.

If you use Firefox, then there's a plugin called Easy Youtube Video Downloader that also gives you the option of downloading as an mp3. Decent, does the job.

I know there's a site that was floating around in the SvR11 thread that had a site with a bunch of themes. You should check there.

Also, one way I find themes to download (and some singles in general) is to just search YouTube with "download link" in the search. It doesn't work 100% of the time, but it does work with a majority. For example, searching "Dolph Ziggler November 2011 download link" comes up with this as the first video:



And the description comes with a download link. Obviously works for CD quality ones as well, that's just an example for a really new theme.

Well, yeah, but I was hesitant to suggest that because you have to save to either a USB device or as an MP3 file to a CD-R, and if you go the CD-R route, you'd better be damn sure it's a brand that 360 consoles recognize, because if it isn't, the console just ignores the fact that there's even a CD in it...annoying but true.

Most people have USB thumb drives so it's not really an issue. You can get them for like a dollar some places.

Also, one thing that people seem to entirely miss the fact on is that you don't even have to rip the themes to your XBox. I don't have an XBox on me right now (coming later this week), but for last year and the year before I had Windows Media Player linked to my XBox with playlists for each theme. I was then able to select those playlists as themes, so I never had to rip anything to my XBox.

I understand that a lot of people don't keep their PCs running 24/7, but if they do this is a completely doable way of having themes and not having to rip them to your XBox every time you need a new theme.

Unless I'm missing something, it's impossible to add USB music to a playlist, I have done the Windows Media Centre trick, but I've only ever got it to work on FIFA.

I'm not actually sure if it's possible, really, just going by info in this thread.

Doing a small search, apparently it isn't. I figured that, with the update a year or two ago to be able to use USB drives it was now possible, so I didn't really question it.
