Looking back, I think the Avs swept the Panthers in 96 and the Devils swept the Wings in 95. Thats four years in a row of sweeps compare that to today and we haven't had a sweep in over a decade!

yeah, I double checked just now. Pretty crazy. I was positive I remembered a bunch of sweeps from back then but hockey and eating were the only two interests I had in those days.

It's cool. I'm into the Avs and I've never been to Colorado. It's because when I started getting into hockey I liked Joe Sakic who was with Quebec which eventually moved to Colorado. So it's whatever. But, my number one is obviously San Jose, which is where I am from. I'm not sure how anyone can be born and raised in a city and not feel loyal to their team(s).

Thats why I dont care for the Mooseheads, I didnt grow up in the city and I love making fun of them.

Sidenote, I joined a 30 team salary cap fantasy league (still some openings if people are interested) and I ended up picking the Pens as my team as no other team that I like was left.

Now there is talk about each manager able to keep a franchise player for longer then all other players out of the team they have, so I have to choose between Malkin and Crosby.

I want Malkin, but know I should take Crosby,
