And for the record, screw the fact that they're little kids. I started watching wrestling when I was five, and was a mark until I was around 11 or 12, and I never cried once because one of my favourites lost, it just made me hate the heel/opponents even more.

It was implied when you said "he was speaking the truth as he and a lot of others saw it" in a post directly after saying you felt Cena was the underdog and getting shit on by a more over star. If he was "speaking the truth" then he is saying Rock is a liar and if people, like you, believed he was right/"the good guy" then clearly you are saying people were behind Cena because they thought The Rock was the bad guy.

In the promos... he was speaking the truth as he and a lot of others saw it. Wrestlers throwing their support behind him... and yes, some fans throwing their support behind the things he was saying about The Rock.

Additionally... through the promos... not even necessarily based on that "real life content" but based on the fact that Cena was "owning" The Rock on the mic in a lot of people's eyes... a lot of people started pulling for Cena in the feud.

Those are the points I made.

Nothing in that says "People thought The Rock was a dick and therefore started rooting for Cena"...

I don't see where any real gains were made in the Cena fanbase because (as we were arguing 48 hours ago on page 1) that Cena was the heel in this thing especially when even the people who were pro-Cena were cheering the fuck out of The Rock and were his twitter puppets.
