Chavez's home run brings up another question, how can the A's not fill up those upper decks for a playoff game? The Twins have part of the Metrodome covered most of the year, but they uncover it for the playoffs because it easily sells out.

They just wanted to build up Radke's shoulder as much as possible so that they could exploit it like they did Curt Schillings ketchup spill.

As for Milton Bradley, him, Thomas and Chavez make up the Oakland offense. He is a good player, and he has been showing why he is good in the playoffs. There clearly aren't problems with him in the clubhouse, considering how there has been absolutely nothing this year, and the A's have a club house that is well known for being down to earth and friendly.

Wow, 7.2 innings of no-run ball for he of the near-9.00 postseason ERA.

Damn, Yankees look awful, can't get a hit for the life of them. People talk about the "greatest lineup ever seen" a lot (I did too) but its not the lineup that got us to the postseason, and you can tell they are pressing.

Looks like a totally different team than in the regular season, and looks awfully familiar to the past couple years postseason teams waiting on the long ball. The whole season the team had to actually fight with Sheff/Matsui getting injured and now it seems they don't think they have to with them back. Not saying having Sheff/Matsui back is bad but I kind of wonder how much it messes with the chemistry and fight the team had this whole year.

Rogers had the curveball from hell going last night. You can't really fault the Yankees for anything. They were pitched to by a monster last night. The same guy who once walked in the series winning run completely owned them last night. He was simply 'on'.

Yeah. I think 99% (maybe all) of the "K-Zone" replays featuring Kenny's pitches showed the amazing curveball. He showed total command of the strikezone, and our boys only allowed 2 Yankees players that got on base in their 5 hits to move up so much as one base, the rest got on base AND DID NOT MOVE AN INCH. N.Y. was 0-for-18 baserunning last night. Now I just hope the Tigers can turn in another similarly brilliant game while they still have the opportunity to win it in front of the hometown crowd.

Oh Man My Padres had 3-2 base with no outs only to score no runs. Not a good start. One runner thrown out at the plate, another picked off @ 1st base.

HOORAY! Tigers are out to a 1-0 lead in the 2nd. It's not much and yes it's still very early in the game, but I got a feeling the Yankees are gonna get PWN'D 2 games in a row IN COMERICA PARK, OF ALL PLACES! That'd be gr8! (or "G-R-R-RRREAT!" as Tony the Tiger (the Kellogg's mascot, not to be confused with Paws, the Tigers mascot) would say).
