Funny this is a new revelation for folks. He's alluded to as much in the past, along with being more inclined in the direction of leather & lace with not only his tastes in women (example: notice how much he puts over Rhea Ripley's look. He also said he has talked to the guy the messages were actually sent to and he had no problem with any of it. That would be a pretty easy thing to call bullshit on if it’s actual bullshit.

I hope he's proven innocent in all this shit, but his side of the story isn't all that exonerating in nature.

its a fundamental contradiction at its most basic level. If you are presumed innocent you require no proof to further it. Its assumed. You are by default 100% factually innocent.



This is one of those instances where you have a cognitive dissonance and you will refuse to be introspective on your own thought process. Perhaps you mispoke? Thats an easier scape goat.

Lol oh god. I didn't misspeak. I'm just not being literal, you fuck.

Dude deserves a fair trial during which I hope he's proven innocent and exonerated. Also, I'm aware he doesn't have to prove his innocence to not be found guilty. Regardless, I still hope all the claims are disproven. But me, being someone with my own brain and ability to think, has my doubts. Just because I have those doubts doesn't mean I think he should be burned at the stake.

I've always said that if you're cool when something happens like this to somebody then you'd have to be alright with it happening to yourself. "Being okay" with it and understanding it are two different things. I don't think Sammy Guevara deserves to be fired for some moronic shit he said when he was 22. And I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he's a relatively upstanding young man.

But I understand why his firing might happen. I'm not big on cancel culture, but surely Sammy is responsible for his own actions.

I dont even understand it. I understand that companies need to keep a certain image but I will never understand validating complete fucking losers that comb the internet for controversy. It doesn't help anybody. Like if a current scandal arises surrounding an employee, they have to address it. This idea though that if someone writes something on a blog/social media post years ago that doesn't gel with current society, that the person needs to be hunted down and purged, that's some dystopian science fiction bizarre world shit. Like, how can anybody be alright living in a world like that? It's an impossible standard to live up to and it just creates a scenario where anybody can be taken down at any time. It's creepy.

This idea though that if someone writes something on a blog/social media post years ago that doesn't gel with current society, that the person needs to be hunted down and purged, that's some dystopian science fiction bizarre world shit. Like, how can anybody be alright living in a world like that? It's an impossible standard to live up to and it just creates a scenario where anybody can be taken down at any time. It's creepy.
It is wrong to a degree, but it's collateral damage over other, bigger issues.

Also, I've said some questionable shit in my days. And I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure even at my dumbest, that I didn't go on a public forum and start making rape jokes. I mean Jesus christ that's dumb.

I might have, in which case, color me a moron. But I have to think I was never that flagrantly stupid. Then again, I've said some fucked up shiznit on the wrestling forum that's pretty mean to people. So god knows how that would be construed.

The issue with Sammy was he was just stupid.
