tyson vs stevie was horrible!
but the ladder match was V good, and HBK vs Kane wasnt bad

Instead of looking at the negative things of Triple H becoming world champion again(which there are some, no doubt), I'll look at the positive things. Obviously, Vince is not happy with how Orton is doing as a face, so he's giving the belt back to Triple H until Orton can get more over(even though he seems plenty over to me). Orton and Triple H will probably feud until Royal Rumble, or maybe even WMXXI.

Randy's probably going to get a big pop on Raw tomorrow, and Triple H will get his inevitable heel heat. Orton seems plenty ready to me as it is, and if it were me, I would've had Orton(along with everyone else here) retain and drop it to ol' big nose at WMXXI. Of course, Randy might just regain the belt tomorrow. Doubtful, considering it is in the hands of Triple H now, but hey, at least we can hope. Oh, and thank god Jericho won that ladder match! 7-time IC champ!

Why would fans cheer for Randy? Because he runs away as soon as the odds are against? Or is it because he's done more at 24 than any of his "fans"? Is it because he got kicked out of Evolution? Or maybe because he dropped the title after a 4 week title reign.

Maybe if he had promo skills like a Rock or Austin I would sya he could get the fans on his side, but I dont see that in him as a face right now, so I dont see how fans will automatically go nuts for him just because he lost a match.

Well, the fans HATE Triple H, who beat Orton last night at Unforgiven. What I was saying was, since they hate Triple H, Orton may now get a bit more over for going against him. With Orton now dropping the belt, it's probable that he'll now start chasing for the title. I just don't see this fued ending so soon. I see it going for a long while. Benoit and HBK on the other hand, really have nothing to do right now.

I think at this point, the fans who actually go to the events, go to cheer for HHH because they know he's ultimately going to win. But he's dead in terms of being able to draw new fans into the fold.

Orton losing is another example of a babyface fueding with HHH who failed. Thats why the laundry list of guys like Jerihco, RVD, Kane, BT , etc never got over like they should have. Same is happening with Orton, clearly the fans aren't into him, and the fact that he lost less than a month after winning the title wont help him any.

Then all the other guys, like HBK and Benoit have fueded with HHH all year and have no value against him. So in otherwords, they've managed to make a bad situation even worse.

The start of the ppv was pure shite. Benoit/Reagl vs Evolution was ok, but the whole thing with Tomko and Richards was a complete waste of time. The crowd were completly dead up untill the ladder match, which was the turning point IMO.

After the ladder match things started to get slightly good. Kane vs HBK was ok and the tag team title match was good. Main event was average, untill Orton RKO'd everyone, then it became good, and when Triple H won, it just complete bollocks and whipped out all the good things that happened in the ppv.

Give it 4/10

From the sounds of things, Orton came off fairly strong with all the RKO's and everything. His character couldn't afford to drop the strap so soon though... shame they blew their load on the possiblity of Orton to early, he didn't immediately put asses in the seats (due to the horrible build up for him), then tonight when they had the chance to make him legit they panic and get the belt back on Triple H.

Orton's character is pretty much fucked now, even though they made him look somewhat strong tonight.

I mean, the face turn was done far to early so that dropped his credibility, but he was the world champion which allowed him to save face a bit. Now he doesn't have that, and he doesn't have an overly developed character as a face. They're going to need to hot shot the belt back to him in the next week or two, cleanly and convincingly or he'll just drop off back to midcard hell.
