I have to disagree with you guys, HHH is a way better champion than Orton. Orton was nothing and boring. Benoit was cool but was going nowhere. HBK is back and I rather watch another HBK/HHH fued than anything Raw have to offer. HBK and HHH is what saved Raw the last two years.

All you guys complain about Orton being champ and he's not no more.

Jericho is IC champion, is this 1999? He's been one of WWE top 5 stars ever since and he still stuck in the mid card.

Raw kinda suck right now but hopefully HHH and HBK will pick things up.

Well they can still save this whole mess by doing a double turn and have HHH drop the belt back to Orton. Orton would then lead a group of guys (i.e. Edge, Xtian, Batista like CyNick said)

Agreed, I mean like I said, they have to get the title back to Orton cleanly and convincingly quickly. Like next week or two.

HHH Vs HBK has been done to death. Furthermore, HBK isn't going to be around forever. They need to start building future stars. They could have easily done that with Orton, but they decided to put the spotlight back on HHH. Look at Raw right now, and how many wrestlers appear to be LEGITIMATE main eventers.

HHH
HBK
BENOIT
Y2J
ORTON
and to a lesser extent, KANE

HBK probably won't be around in ten years.
Benoit may not be either ( gotta remember, neck problems)
Y2J was a main eventer, hasn't been in awhile.
Kane is a pseduo main eventer.

The only main eventer besides Benoit that the WWE has really built up on in the past year has been Orton. Since the last Survivor Series, the only two credible main eventers that have emerged are Benoit and Randy Orton. Building up 1 or 2 main events a year is not a good plan for the future...

THe same thing can be said for Smackdown. They've built up Eddie G, John Cena, and JBL. That's really about it. (I'm not counting Undertaker because he's been a main eventer for years.) Furthermore, Eddie G, and John Cena built themselves up a lot to the fans, to the point where WWE sort of had to get behind them.

Why would fans cheer for Randy? Because he runs away as soon as the odds are against? Or is it because he's done more at 24 than any of his "fans"? Is it because he got kicked out of Evolution? Or maybe because he dropped the title after a 4 week title reign.

Maybe if he had promo skills like a Rock or Austin I would sya he could get the fans on his side, but I dont see that in him as a face right now, so I dont see how fans will automatically go nuts for him just because he lost a match.

I think it's time to end those stupid Rock and Orton comparisons. Orton is nowhere near Rocky level(am talking about when Rock first won the title in 98).

Orton is the future and he have alot of time. Benoit is the type of wrestler who don't need the belt. Benoit generate the same heat and type of matches with or without the title. HBK is a legend but seeing him with a title is always fun. Kane is like Benoit, he don't need the title. Y2J does need the title because once the WWE see how good he is as champ,they will push him hard.

HHH is still in his prime(not for so long),why not give him the title?

Cena gets louder reaction as a heel and babyface than Orton ever did. If WWE want to push a young guy,Cena is the guy.

Maybe it's time for RVD to get his long awaited title shot.

I don't agree with giving Orton a one month run, but at least they made him look very strong by still almost winning after countless run-ins. I hope that Orton wins it back within one or two months.

Maybe not, but he's been in the main event picture since WrestleMania, definitely more so than World Champion Chris Benoit.

Backlash: HHH vs. Benoit vs. HBK
Bad Blood: HHH vs. HBK (which was placed higher on the card than Benoit vs. Kane, might I add)
Summerslam: HHH vs. Eugene (which was hyped much more than Benoit vs. Orton)

Triple H has been hogging the spotlight on RAW since Mania, starting with his feud with Shelton Benjamin and then HBK and then Eugene. It just figures that he's the World Heavyweight Champion again, since RAW is basically The Triple H Show feat. some other people.

Orton is dead, and the wave of popularity he was riding on as a heel is dead too. It's going to take some ingenius booking to get Randy over to main event status, and I just don't think Vince and co. have what it takes.

I agree with Mr Sunday. Orton is dead. He is done. He lost any chance that he had, unless they do something drastic to him, like call him "The Rock", give him a Samoan Tattoo and if he grows some sideburns.

The only thing they can do is put the belt back on him. Or turn him heel again, but I feel that they really blew it. He has no catchphrases or charisma to fall back on. He's mediocre at best. Prove me wrong WWE, prove me wrong.

Wow, LC's parody entertained me a lot more than the PPV would have... they just ruined the last month of angles by having HHH go over and by having HBK bury Kane.

Well, at least SD! isn't alone in suckitude now. Seriously... who the hell does the "thinking" around here??? It would have been better to have HHH beat Benoit outright tonight for the title. Honestly.

HHH winning the title back of Orton was hardly unexpected (by me anyway), but this could help get Orton over more in the long run. Which is a goood thing.

He killed 4 careers within a year.

Not one, not two, but four careers.

Jericho - squashed him at WM 18 and he did the same at Bad Blood. Jericho's career hasn't recovered since then.

RVD - Over like rover, and was going to get the World belt, but Triple H used his power to change that decision becase "he's a better wrestler than RVD".

Kane - See RVD. And not only did he do the same to Kane, but he and Kane were involved in one of the most distasteful angles in years.

Booker T - Probably the most tragic story of all of these. Triple H not only said many subliminal racist thing towards Booker, but killed his momentum also. He was supposed to have a long feud with Booker, but his buddy Kevin Nash was getting better and Hunter opted to drop the Booker/Triple H feud for a Hunter/Nash feud, which horrible in it's own right.

Let's look at what these superstars are up to today:

Jericho - Won the IC title again, but has jobbed his ass off recently.
RVD - Jobbing on Smackdown.
Kane - Involved in yet another horrible angle with Lita and he is now unmasked.
Booker T - U.S. Champ, but never regained the momentum to get the World Title.

THANKS ALOT, TRIPLE H!!!!! WAY TO DO BUSINESS!

Yes, but only two other people have held the belt since then as well. With HHH as champ, I don't see it as a time frame ( he hasn't held the belt since..) but instead, a champion frame (who has held the belt.) HHH Has been close to being champion every other person. I'm not saying the title should be bounced around, but if two other people held it in that time frame, I wouldn't find it as annoying. Instead, the main event group seems very closed off.

I'm not happy seeing Triple H as champ but this could work for Orton, that it took all that it did to defeat him still proves that he is better than Trips.
Hopefully this could lead to a long feud where Orton finally wins at Wrestlemania, therefore giving the belt more credibility and Orton.

I just found out Orton lost the title... WOW where was the WWE even taking this whole Orton Cha,pion thing.. I mean they made a big deal that he was the youngest champion of all time and then suddenly take it away from him? Raw is making no sense what so ever. Now what Triple H will hold the title until Wrestlemania losing to Orton or something.. I don't know.. I think Orton winning last night would make him 100 times more cockier thus making his character 100 times better.

I think at this point, the fans who actually go to the events, go to cheer for HHH because they know he's ultimately going to win. But he's dead in terms of being able to draw new fans into the fold.

Orton losing is another example of a babyface fueding with HHH who failed. Thats why the laundry list of guys like Jerihco, RVD, Kane, BT , etc never got over like they should have. Same is happening with Orton, clearly the fans aren't into him, and the fact that he lost less than a month after winning the title wont help him any.

Then all the other guys, like HBK and Benoit have fueded with HHH all year and have no value against him. So in otherwords, they've managed to make a bad situation even worse.
