yeah thats fair. though the community doesnt consider mk4 part of the 3d era it does qualify as a 3d game. mk4 though is a bridge of sorts. its fundamentally mk3u with a side step and weapons. DA is where they really started going into story driven games with an overhauled and completely reimagined system. when i say 3d era i do specifically mean Deadly Alliance, Deception and Armageddon. but i hear you.

lol the 90's were all about taking action franchise movies and turning them into a kid friendly cartoon (usually horrible). Ghost Busters series were legit tho

Not completely on the same subject but it actually makes me curious about how they would have pulled off a Tomb Raider animated kids series. Lara loses...something in 2D.

tbf when the movie dropped the characters werent very fleshed out. those versions were the definitive versions

I probably should have clarified. What I meant was that the Annihilation versions of Sonya and Raiden were played differently than in the first movie. Sonya turned into a mopey, whiney, tantrum-fueled girl and virtually all of the humor and charm was sucked out of Raiden.
