Anaheim Angels got a bargain today.
Signing Garrett Anderson to $48M 4 year deal. That's my take on it anyway. What do you think?

It's the "Market correction". I think they said payrolls or average player salaries went down for the first time in 20yrs or something like that.
I think your going to see the trend continue, w/ the exception of the Yankees. |

Garrett Anderson is a damn good player. He has been overlooked for a long time. Now he is playing CF. He can do it all.

12 mil a year. is a lot of money, but considering what others make, correction or not, that's a bargain.

some big free agents coming up at the end of the year. heck, the sox have a bunch. Pedro, Lowe, Nomar, Variteck. I can see the Yanks blowing a lot on Lowe or Pedro, but I think Nomars going to be shocked, when no one wants to give him 15mil a year. |
