Laptop Charger Question...
So I have an extra laptop charger that fits into my Netbook. It seems to charge it fine, but there's a high-pitched noise coming from the battery when I use the cord (unplugged and the original plug don't get this sound).

Am I to assume this is bad/dangerous and I shouldn't use it?

If it's not the voltage and amperage rated for the device then it could indeed damage the battery.
Did you not get one for the Netbook?
