Book Triple H's Retirement

Who retires The Game? How? What's the last match?

It's time to make TPWW MEAT again!

Quote:
Unlike traditional grills which cook food from a single, direct heat source, the Pit Barrel® Cooker’s cylindrical shape and “Hook-and-Hang” method places the food in the center of the action, heating the meat from all sides at once, producing consistently great-tasting, perfectly cooked meat every time.

Also have some popcorn.

Okay, Okay, I'll get this out the way before JS does....

Here's how you book Triple H's retirement.

WWE logo comes on against a black background.

Shane McMahon: tonight, the Wrestling business has lost one of it's greatest stars, Paul Levesque. We will dedicate the rest of the of the decade to honoring his legacy. until the new decade, Raw will highlight his greatest achievements on all Raw's, SD! will show his greatest matches from WCW, and every other match slightly involving him in any way.

The next PPV will be WWE Homegoing: a three hour memorial.

God help us all. "

Triple H calls out the Ultimate Warrior, stating that Wrestlemania 12 was a fluke. He has never really gotten over the devestating loss and puts his career on the line just for the chance to right the wrong.

The Ultimate Warrior wins in 12 seconds at Wrestlemania.

Mick Foley comes back and hits Triple H in the eye with a flaming barb wire 2x4 permanently blinding the game and ending his career. Triple H will later give the credit for his blinding to Ric Flair.

since most people kinda made jokes on this I'll go with how I could really see it going.
We have a long drawn out feud between HHH and one of his long time rivals/friends after a good number of back and forth matches which end with both men having an equal number of wins and losses we get an emotional moment ala HBK where Trips puts his career on the line to see who truly is the better man we get a WM match that ends with Trips being pinned for the three count after a gallant battle the next night on RAW we get a nice farewell only to have HHH return as GM or as a new Mr.Mcmahon type character some time down the line

Okay so on to mine. Trips is booked against Sheamus tomorrow night in a Street Fight. Before the match, The Game cuts another promo on how Sheamus is the future of WWE and he needs to step it up because it's going to be more brutal than their match at Wrestlemania. The match is largely even, with both men throwing everything and the kitchen sink at each other. Hunter is looking to be injured after Sheamus puts him back first into the ringpost several times, but manages to fend him off long enough to dig around under the ring. Out comes the sledge. HHH lays waste to Sheamus, rolls him into the ring, sledge to the sternum to double him over, and hits the Pedigree. This puts Sheamus down, but just barely long enough for the 3 count. As Sheamus gets up, severely pissed, the crowd can tell that Hunter's back and ribcage are hurting more than he lets on, and the Celtic Warrior uses that to his advantage until officials come out to pull him off. HHH is stretchered out of the arena.

Raw starts off with a video package and the announcers stating Triple H has been severely injured, busted ribs, internal bleeding, all that shit. Trips can take time off to film the next WWE films clunker or learn to book or something.

For the next few months or so Sheamus is booked to look unstoppable. (For the sake of this post he stays on Raw.)

So lets say around Survivor Series or whatever is replacing it this year, Sheamus is the champion. He's destroyed everyone that's faced him since Extreme Rules, and he's cutting a promo on Raw about how nobody deserves a shot at his title when out of nowhere comes.... Batista. This quickly gets physical, and guest host #863 books them for the PPV. Over the coming weeks things escalate until #867 makes the match a Street Fight.

During the match things are looking bad for Batista he's a bloody mess, having been battered in much the same way as Hunter was taken out, when out of nowhere The Game slides into the ring. One hit with the sledge, and Sheamus is down. Hunter drags Batista over the champion and silently leaves the ring as the ref counts the pin.

Weeks go by. Sheamus is calling Hunter out every Monday night on Raw, but he never shows. Sheamus is visibly nervous every time he wrestles. He's always looking over his shoulder, wondering when the next hit is going to come. Every once in a while, during a PPV or a big match, Sheamus catches "GAME OVER" on the tron. It's only ever there long enough to throw him off his game, and make him think he's paranoid. This is enough to keep him from winning the title back, but eventually it gets to the point that it doesn't bother him anymore. He gets comfortable thinking he's retired the King of Kings, and it's just Hunter trying to get to him.

Rumble time rolls around. Nobody's seen Trips since the run in to cost Sheamus the title. It's down to Sheamus and Morrison in the ring when once again "GAME OVER" flashes on the tron. By this point it doesn't even bother the Celtic Warrior anymore, but it's enough for Morrison to shove him over the top rope onto the apron. Sheamus is pretty well stopping Morrison's every attempt to knock him off the apron, but doesn't notice Hunter jump the barricade behind him. Trips pulls him off the apron (*Morrison wins, beginning his ascent into the main event.) Stiff kick to the midsection and a Pedigree, and Hunter once again just walks off silently.

The next night on Raw Sheamus is livid. He's interrupted several of the matches, each time demanding that HHH come out and face him like a man. Finally whoever's running Raw on this particular night comes out and confronts him in the ring. Telling him he's barred from ringside for the rest of the night, and having security drag him out of the ring. Sheamus returns anyway during the main event. The match ends in a no contest, and Sheamus cuts a promo stating that he will ruin every Raw from now on until he sees Triple H. Cue the music. Hunter comes out to the stage. No taunts, no microphone, he just looks out at the crowed for a minute or so, (maybe this will get a real crowd reaction) then slowly starts down to the ring. Sheamus drops the mic, and tries to kick HHH when he goes to slide into the ring, but it was a fake out. Hunter grabs his foot and pulls him out of the ring. A Pedigree later, Trips is making his way back up the ramp, having never said a word. "No Chance" hits about the time he gets back onto the stage, where he meets his father-in-law. Vince says he likes where this is going, and has Trips pull his shirt off to reveal that he's still heavily bandaged around the midsection ala DDP (he's been in street clothes every time he's showed up since Extreme Rules.) Vince states that Hunter's not going to be able to compete anytime soon because of the injuries Sheamus gave him, but that he's thinking the Grandest Stage of Them All is a good place to settle this. The usual no contact with each other until the match stipulation, and then he turns to Hunter. "You've been on the injured list, getting paid, since Extreme Rules. Now you're on paid vacation until Wrestlemania week. This is to see to it neither of you kills the other before the big payoff. If you can't cut it after resting for almost a year, if you lose at Wrestlemania, You'll never work a match in my ring again."

Business as usual on the road to Wrestlemania. Sheamus is booked to look unstoppable. Hunter is only shown in video packages training and the like. Never speaking a word.

The Raw before Wrestlemania, Sheamus is in the main event. "GAME OVER" comes across the tron. Hunter is standing under it in full ring gear, ribs still taped, but looking very much ready. Sheamus loses the match.

From here you can pretty much use your imagination on the actual match, but Trips has to lose and retire. I was more concerned with having a great build up. I put alot of thought into this, I hope you guys like it.

*My tie in to Xero's Main Event thread, which I also plan on doing.

From here you can pretty much use your imagination on the actual match. I was more concerned with having a great build up. I put alot of thought into this, I hope you guys like it.

*My tie in to Xero's Main Event thread, which I also plan on doing.
I'd very much enjoy this. This is how Sheamus vs HHH should have gone this time would have made for a epic encounter and made Sheamus look like the next big thing. Only one problem I see is that this has nothing to do with an actual HHH retirement none the less I love this idea.

The use your imagination part of the WM match after what Vince said was supposed to put off the fact that Hunter loses the match and has to retire. I made it a little bit clearer though. Glad you liked it.

Probably gets a "future endeavors" message on WWE's website. Then on the upcoming RAW, Chris Jericho open the show standing in the middle of the ring with a smirk on his face and laughing for the next few minutes since he finally got the last laugh in the Jericho-HHH feud.

Trips is gonna retire from in ring competition with the WWE, and even then he's still gonna be on the show in some capacity from now on. Shane quit, Trips and Steph will take over when Vince finally kicks the bucket.

He won't "retire." I see him slowly phasing himself out until he's GM or married to Linda and even then he'd probably still have a match every once and a while. Plus I feel like he's got too much of an ego to have a final match putting someone over.

HHH won't retire, he'll die in the ring!

anyways, his retirement match would be either against Randy Orton, Edge or a young up-and-comer in few years time! just as long if he doesn't do a Ric Flair and fck up his own legacy!

Then after the match he gets a big massive send off like Flair had and Vince will pass the baton to H!
